I tried out the first mission on hard to see what it was like. You get 15 exp for killing an ant rather just 5 exp like normal, and they took more hits. I think there was more of them, but I couldn't really tell.

That was a pretty epic run we had yesterday the games longer then i expected to. Glad that we share weapon drops or that could get annoying.

Survival mode appears to be completely independent of the general game.

I got Jet up to tier 5. Got an even better missile launcher but the guns all cost 10'000+ at this rank so I couldn't try many of them.

No, I went back and did the levels I hadn't done in single player. Got to rank 5 after the first 3 missions of chapter 3. I now have the best weapon set up ever. One gun fires 4 homing missiles that go anywhere and kill whatever, and my other gun fires 1 homing missile than then splits into 4 homing missiles that all go after a single target.

Tier 6 now. I need 200'000 exp to get to tier 7. That's going to be a pain.

Fuck this game. You really should keep your exp even if you die. I lost 10k points because both bots and I suddenly died for no apparent reason.

Don't worry dude we're set now. I just realised i don't need to hit hector chest plates to killl them.

I haven't bothered aiming for the chest plates for ages now, because I've nearly always been using a grenade launcher or homing missiles.

I have a timed grenade launcher with devestating blast radius i think i used it last time we played but it annhilates, bomb spiders/hectors and hordes. so i think life should be a lot easier when we have boss rushes giant hectors still a problem though.

I've been trying out my tier 6 homing assault rifle. Only 22 rounds and a 5 second reload, with really tough active reload timing, and just 400 damage per shot. But the homing bullets really make up for all of it. It's awesome for wasps.

Wow, I'm shocked. I made a topic about weapons dropping outside the level boundaries on the 360 board and pretty much everyone seems fine with it.

They don't want the best, they just accept whats given to them, thats why they have 360s.

Finished hard mode. Still need 100'000 exp to reach tier 7. The final level was actually pretty easy with the bots. Didn't die once (they did, I didn't). There's a crap load of hectors and a few wasps, so I got plenty of weapons, about 5 of which were new.

God damn it. I keep getting signed out of PSN.

Did the first 2 missions on Inferno. Wasn't so bad. Got 20k points for each one, and that was with the bots on.

Got to tier 7 with Jet. Only had enough to buy two weapons since they're all at least 100k.

I'm starting to understand the complaints about the AI. Playing on Inferno now and they're blowing the shit out of me. Killed me 3 times.

Not that I know of, I set the delivery address to a friend of mine as I was away and I don't think he's got it yet but the store says it usually takes 4-12 working days and it's been 9 since it shipped so I expect I'll have it by next week at the latest.
