Some of those are hardly trivial. X factor and projectiles are a major part of this. If you don't like those two elements you might as well throw that shit away.

Okay, most of them are trivial then. There are a lot of other factors that add up to this game being ass.

X-Factor is a massive problem, but projectiles hardly are. The game was made with more projectiles in mind, but rush down is still an effective tactic in this game. The game has more problems with X-Factor, Wesker, and easily exploitable assists than projectiles.

This. The only real problem with zoning people come across is with Ghost Rider/Hawkeye type of teams. Rush down with assist is pretty much still the standard way of fightingl. Like Tatsu assist, Tron assist, Hidden Missiles, etc.

Eh. Decided to keep it. I'm going to get basically shit back, which I'd have to use to fill up my fucking gas tank anyway. I've been thinking about just selling my whole console instead.

So how 'bout that patch? Heroes & Heralds mode is pretty okay.

Anything noteworthy about the patch besides Heroes and Heralds?

They removed the grab teching glitch like they said they would, and PW's Press the Witness assist doesn't have invincibility anymore. They also got rid of Hulk's apparent corner infinite that I never actually saw anyone use in a match.

Alright, looks like I need a knew strategy with Wright when he gets into Turnabout, but that's good. Now if they'd fucking deal with Wesker and X-Factor then online would be a bit more bearable.

Heroes and Heralds mode is pretty cool. It's nothing too different when you get into the actual gameplay of it. The perks are nice though. I chose Heroes to start with and have a card to raise my attack power, one to start with more HC and it keeps refilling automatically and one for a better chance at a rare card for now.

Full changelog:
Quote :
Anytime throw tech glitch has been removed.
Characters can now air block when falling to the ground after an air dash.
Phoenix Wright’s α and β assists are no longer invincible in Turnabout Mode.
Knockback from Wolverine’s “Berserker Rage” has been modified so that infinite combos are no longer possible.
The second hit of Hulk’s “Anti Air Gamma Charge 2nd H” is no longer an untechable knockdown after 2 reps, so infinite combos are no longer possible.
Vergil’s “Helmet Breaker” can no longer be canceled through button drumming.
Hawkeye’s “Trick Shot (Violet Fizz)” poison damage will now continue during the capture state of “Quick Shot (Hunter).”
There was one frame where you could not block after activating X-Factor, but that has been fixed so you can block immediately now.
When hitting an assist character who has super armor, it has been modified so that proper hit stun still occurs.
Super armor breaking moves no longer cause a momentary freeze on hit.

Fighting the last battles of the secret area's in Heroes and Heralds is so annoying. I swear to god the game is fucking reading my button inputs.

The only trouble I had with it so far was Doctor Doom's foot dive shenanigans. Otherwise, the bonus stages were piss easy.
