Wooh Cyclops. I wouldn't be surprised if three of the 5 Capcom slots are Strider, Mega Man X and Phoenix Wright considering the Unity polls. And Venom has a good shot too if they took the votes into consideration at all.

I hope they don't take those polls into consideration because Megaman X would be awful and I've honestly lost any amount of shit I'm ever going to give about Phoenix being in this game from Phoenix Wright fans feeling entitled to their character being in this.

How can Phoenix Wright be in the game anyway? What's his special gonna be, Super Litigation?

Well Mega Man was once Capcom's icon, so I wouldn't be surprised if they put classic or X in. I do think the fans have gone overboard asking for Phoenix Wright to be in. As much as I love those games, I'm fine with him not being in. Strider would be awesome though. On the bright side, on Marvel's side we'd get Venom and Gambit.

Gambit was awesome in MvC2 and he wasn't gimmicky at all.

He was fun to play, that's about it.

There's nothing really wrong with that, but it sort of creates the problem with you asking for specific characters if you're fine with that because then they could just fill the game with mooks and it would be fine. Obviously you want characters you know of because you're familiar and attached to these characters and these characters sell games when they're all matched together.

There were some major hints dropped by Lupinko (The guy who knew about Sentinel, Akuma, all the other stuff before they were revealed) that the Mega Man we might be getting will be the Starforce one.

Also, I'm almost positive Cyclops will be way less Optic Blast dependent than MvC2.
