| i played the first two levels of the pack and don't understand how it is far better than the entire USS campaign like some say because it isn't.
they certainly are more intense than most of the USS missions but it didn't get overwhelming like gone rogue or expendable. i got pretty excited fighting nemesis with his rocket launcher in the third level but it just became a game of bait and trap.it was nicer that he was harder than his boss fight in gone rogue
their was also a stupid ass USS boss in the second mission who was pretty much like fighting leon because of how much health he had, though i was playing pro which certainly was a factor. it was still stupid because i don't like long fire fights it didn't help that he could snap out of a melee combo and brutal kill me and my friend repeats the exact same mistake right after i yelled get away from him forcing us to fight the USS boss at full health

| haha
anyway continued from my last post because of stupid ps3 character limit. i think the utilization of each characters unique passive abilities in certain areas adds a stealth factor to make the game easier because we were getting hints about said abilities. i am uncertain because my friend shot the trip mine instead of disarming and i chose harley instead of willow when we got to an area saying recon characters can move without alerting creatures

| replayed city hall and the clock tower / foundry levels. the best part of the two so far is really the very first part of city hall. you're attacked by an endless spawn of crimson heads and the mission objectve in that area leaves at least one person defenseless so the others have to cover him. aside from a few different mission objectives it is fairly similar to the USS version of city hall in terms of enemis with slightly higher difficulty. the major differences is you start out on the streets instead of in the building and the USS boss who was a shit load easier on veteran. i also confirmed the stealth parts and you can get through easier if you do so. this also means you need at least one other person to get through both areas in an easier way. you don't go through most of the building lije th USS does though.
personally i do like the spec ops version of city hall a bit more but it needs more zombies to blow away

| in the third level, if you liked fighting nemesis, you'll probably like it. you fight him in two different areas the first running from him the second stopping him. he's harder than gone rogue but easier than the spec ops prologue mostly due to the mini gun being harder to dodge than the rocket launcher it doesn't help that they made him slow as fuck in this even after losing his weapons. if you play as tweed running becomes easier because you don't have to bait him as much. you just need to find c4 which is unnecessary but makes the level a bit more interesting. you fight large groups of regular zombie, a few crimson heads, a few lickers, and some USS between the pargs you fight nemesis. zombies and a few crimson heads accompany him as well at some point
again, i found the first half of the level better. my initial excitement encountering nemesis disappeared when i saw how stupid he was. i can't say this is way better than the USS campaign but so far it's alright. still have one more level left.

| played the third level in the expansion pack and it was great. certainly one of the best in the game. i liked it from beginning to end. half of the level is escort focused so you'll be doing a lot of guarding. you only fight a few USS because i guess birkin slaughters most of them. even a horror element is added due to complete darkness you have to venture forth similar to tomb raider with flares guiding you through the darkness. however, the area is fairly short and flares are in mass abundance so running out shouldn't happen which some what kills the only horror element in the game. after getting through that you encounter claire and protect her while she searches for sherry. later you seperate for a stupid reason and find sherry shortly after. you have to guide her from a distance with flares while shooting the hell out of any zombie that chases her. i would post in detail exactly what happened to me but if you really like this game as much as i do psycho, this level is too good to spoil | |

| the second pack is great and judging from the ending it's possible there will be more missions which is neat. super parasite tyrant was the final boss fight and was far more fitting than the final boss fight in the USS campaign which is essentially boot camp for online versus. all the levels were great, especially the 6th mission. that is probably my favorite mission of all now | |

| once again some single mission scores are pointless due to exploits. you can get a million XP on the first level if you wanted to | |

| apparently there is a glitch that makes the game unplayable. if you stockpile over 10 million XP the game no longer loads properly | |

| there was a patch that changed some things.
from what i've seen
A.I now shoots at mines instead of walking into them
sniper rifles have less recoil
and no infinite melee combo
you can dive into cover
i also experienced 2 new (to me anyway) glitches
my friend fell through the floor and died
i was unable to reload for a while
