You will. Both SA1 and SA2 were amazing.
Sonic Adventure 2 Battle actually may possibly be my most played game. It really needs to come on PSN so you can enjoy it too.
This except that Sonic Adventure 2 Battle actually is my most played game.

Well I don't think it's very hard to collect all the emblems and get s-ranks but some people seem to find them impossible. If you can control the characters without being retarded then you can do it. You will find shortcuts all over the place. Unless you bought the DX add-on collecting the emblems is worthless unless you just want the trophy.

Yeah i got that I heard you get metal sonic, thats the only reason i care.
So is metal sonic actually fun to play as? What baout super sonic has he got the usual 50 ring dealie. Also is there a way to collect rings when i'm running fast around corners i always miss loads in that situation. The buttons are horribly described so i'm not sure if i'm missing something.
So far i got to the bit where amy is kidnapped and i've done probbaly 1/2 stages with knuckles.

Yeah, It's the usual 50 rings deal.
I need to start playing this again.

The first one was easy. IIRC it was just making a billboard pop up or something. I dunno, I recall doing hardly nothing for it when I was playing DX and then next to pool, there was some billboard promoting Sonic X.
Regarding the DLC, I wonder if the billboard still shows a picture of that show or if it promotes something else now.
Yes, It is still there, still promoting Sonic X.

Out of the two, I've only played SA2B before I got this. So, There's almost no nostalgia for me, either.

Haha. You'd think they'd take the time to change that old ass advertisement into a promo for something new.

Metal Sonic = Sonic, only as metal Sonic. There isn't any difference other than look. It's the Sonic CD Metal Sonic which then makes it pretty cool but still. You can only be super sonic in the final stage, which is a whole bunch of fun but I jus would have liked to be able to change when I pleased. ANd you'll get used to the controls and will be controllin' peeps like a pro in no time if you just practice.

Use homing attack on those things Eggman drops, grab them, throw them at Chaos, wait until he freezes and hit him with a homing attack.

forgot there was a grab button in this. Teaches me for not playing this in one go.
Thanks a lot. I'll try this in a while.

Well, That was a game. Now to replay the levels for more emblems, Raise chao, & lament my lack of friends to play 2 player mode with. It'd be nice if there was any kind of online 2 player. But, Nope, Local Multiplayer Only. ...oh well, It's only Amy, Metal Sonic, Tikal, Chaos, & the Chao-Driven Chaobots I'm missing out on. And I can just play Adventure 1 for Amy & (Once I get all the emblems) Metal Sonic. The rest can sit and watch as I do flips on my giant hammer and fly around the hub world.
...Although, I'm going to miss Amy's Snowboard. (Got the chance to try 2 player at Mikey's place.)

Nevermind, I remembered that I'm playing on a PS3 and can switch from one controller to the next on the fly. ...Still pretty sad having to play 2P Mode by myself. -_- But atleast I can play Sonic's levels using Shadow, Amy, & Metal Sonic. And I can treasure hunt with Tikal & Chaos. The mecha battles can fuck off, That shit should've been exclusive to Dr. Robotnik. But noo~, They had to cripple Tails and shove him into a mecha too. /insert rant that nobody cares about

Sonic Adventure 2 has the Two Player Mode. But it's Local Two Player only.
...Actually, Let me be more specific, Sonic Adventure 2 vanilla has a Two Player Mode, But you can only play as Sonic & Shadow for Action Races, Knuckles & Rouge for treasure hunting, and Tails & Eggman for mach battles.
The DLC that unlocks Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, However, Gives you the extra characters Amy & Metal Sonic for the Action Races, Tikal & Chaos for the treasure hunting, and "Chao Walker" & "Dark Chao Walker" for the mech battles.
The DLC also gives you the option to set the theme/voice of the menu screen. Case in point, You can have a Tails background in most of the game menus (Sound Test, Kart Racing, etc.), Tails will also have something to say for most game menus as well (Entering Sound Test will have him say, "You can listen to music from the game, If you like.", Entering Two Player Mode will have him say, "Who are you going to play as? Me?", etc.)
Edit: Forgot about the Two Player Kart Races & The Chao related games (Chao Racing & Chao Karate.) The kart races only allow you to play as the main 6 and the Chao Games allow you to play as a Hero Chao, Dark Chao, or a plain ol' Chao.
