The Walking Dead

Subject: The Walking Dead Mon Nov 01, 2010 3:15 am

A new tv series based on a Zombie Apocalypse. Very Happy

The characters are trying to prevent themselves from using guns so they dont attract more, and before helping anyone they the person to speak.
Main character is a cop who just woke up from a coma after being shot in a car chase only to find out that there are severely injured people walking around or laying around.

I'm looking forward to watching this later tonight, with On Demand. It's an AMC Original, so expectations are high as hell.

It won't screen here for ages, if ever, so I'll have to watch it online/download it.

It was very good. The first survivers the cop meet explain the situation to him pretty well and then he gets right down to ass kicking. I'm more happy I have another show to watch again. And the production values r nice.

What about it didn't you like?

Personally I thought it was pretty good, not amazing but good. I expect it to pick up a bit now that the scene has been set and stuff can actually happen.

The zombes look like how I expect a zombie to look like. They shouldnt look like they've been dead for centuries unless it's zombies from the grave or from a explosion/fire. Shocked

Yeah, at the end when the car alarm was goin but they werent showing the car, I thought he crashed and got eaten. But he's out joy riding.
But I think that guy on the roof will escape, the hacksaw got kcocked off where it was at so he could reach for it.

Watched the first episode, it's near direct adaption
Good episode, the original comic is more enjoyable

Saw the first three episodes when they aired. Great show but kinda burnt out on zombies, I probably won't watch the rest.

So what happened to the dudes brother then? Did he die? He was supposed to have escaped by cutting his hand off, and it's like his little brother kinda sorta gave up on the search. Yet he was so adament about it that whole episode.

He escaped and it's implied that he stole the van they drove back to get him in.
I haven't watched the new episode yet but I'm betting
