Watched this mess, wish I never had It did some things right, like Yagami unholy pact with the Orochi, why Vice hates Rugal, Chizuru being the guardian of the Orochi, and Vice & Mature working under Rugal I hate how they handled Terry, I hate incorporating alternate dimensions to this story, and what they did to Kyo is terribly wrong

Watched a couple of Marvel animated features 1. Planet Hulk: It's nice 2. Iron Man: It starts nice, becomes confusing and full of WTF?! moments

The only animated Marvel movies I've seen are Iron man, Dr. Strange and the two Avengers ones. The Avengers were pretty good, I'd recommend them. Dr. Strange was pretty strange, especially for someone who's only experience of the guy is from MUA. Iron Man was fine, I don't remember it being too confusing.

Planet Hulk: It's an adaption from the story written by Greg Pak, personally I thought the comics are 'MEH', but the feature is rather fun to watch.
I don't know why Hulk's punching of the ship suddenly causes it to change course, and turns it to the planet where he is really needed as a champion. And he suddenly stops speaking third person, no explanation. Maybe I shouldn't really complain about that
The story is a series of cliches, but what new story isn't? I shouldn't really complain about it, just enjoy the ride. Guy banished, becomes hero, nice king is a villain, biological weapon released, Alice (from Resident Evil movies) is revealed, yap yap yap
The art design reminds me of several things: Hulk reminds me a little of his model for the 90s animated Hulk series The young king reminds me of the main protagonist of Avatar: The Last Air Bender The older version of the king both look and sound like Lex Luthor from Superman: Doomsday, too bad he's not the same voice actor
The movie is decent, I give it a 3.7/5

Of these I haven't watched Dr. Strange, don't have interest in witchcraft out of Harry Potter series Ultimate Avengers movies are nice Iron Man is an entirely different case

Iron Man: The movie took plenty of liberties and changed plenty of things from the original story, I'm not complaining, I think the changes they made are fine and worked nicely for the movie, at least for a part of them
The changes that happened: 1. Jim Rhodes is not a member of the U.S Air Force, or the army, he's a chief engineer for Stark Enterprises 2. The head of the red Vietnamese army and tyrant is a leader of nationalist Chinese people working hard to prevent a major disaster from occurring 3. Mandarin is not a contemporary villain, more like an ancient beast 4. Lei Mei, from the early Iron Man issues of Iron Man by "Archie Goodwyn" & "George Tuska" is not a servant of Mandarin in love with him, but then sees otherwise, here she's one of the Dragons 5. Howard Stark is alive, and in charge of the company 6. Tony came up with the suit idea before being captured, very long before being captured 7. Ho Yinsen is a monk, and he didn't help Stark to save his life alone, instead he was aided by Rhodes
I like the changes made, already said that, the execution falls near the end, really HARD
Stark Enterprises aided the Chinese government to uplift an ancient city from underground using liquid steel, indestructible, they didn't know what the Dragon gang knew about the dangers of bringing the city up Howard Stark sent weapons to aid Rohdey, the weapons were stolen and used against them
The committee of big wig shareholders decide to fire Tony, with approval of his father cause they don't like how he apparently waste their money, even with the documents he gave them revealing the high profits make up for the money Tony spent
Tony is fired, but he still works in his company
Howard acts like a big asshole towards his son, turning him to S.H.I.E.L.D. for providing weapons illegally to the Chinese gang, and keeps acting like a total dick
Mei Lei comes to Tony, she gets his help to keep Mandarin away from being resurrected, to show that she wants him resurrected herself cause it's her duty as one of his descendants, she fights Tony when she's totally naked, Tony shouts to her and she resists what she did cause she planned to do so, and he convinced her that that isn't what she wanted, and then the ancient Mandarin dies
Tony buys most of his company shares from the stockholder, and gives great control to his father, the biggest dick of the feature, then they suddenly act like loving father and son, Howard lashes out and fires everyone else of the stockholders, and there you have the happy ending
I noticed in several stories in American fiction one major fuck for stockholders; their shares slip and get sold without their permission or knowledge, even if the establishment is fine and very well. What kind of fucked up system is that?

The whole trilogy, not just the first movie. Story in general has some goofy segments, but in general it's really good, still a trilogy worth watching Watched each movie a few times the past few days
And then I watched Teen Wolf, another movie released in 1985 starring Michael J. Fox, huge difference in picture quality, this one looks old, while Back to the Future maintained the clean look as if it is a new movie

Elektra, not a bad movie, half decent more like it One thing deserves a strong "HUH?" is the big guy not being hurt by bullets and sais, it ends up with him having a glass skull when a tree falls on him. Shrug bullets by get broken by a tree faster than an average human? Really?
Two guys from the "King of Farts" movie appeared, the ones who played Iori and Sasiyu

The King's Speech Someone recommended this movie to me, he said the title only, I thought it was about a king in the old ages of England back when there were knights, the king gives a speech so important the movie is titled after it
Watched the movie now, every expectation I had of it is crushed, at least not the one about the movie taking place in England. Movie is about the father of Queen Elizabeth, the speech in the movie title is about the manner he speaks with, Duke Albert had an illness that made him stutter
Movie is really good

Just finished Resident Evil: Afterlife. Technically shit but fun to watch and not pretentious. Wesker is awesome as usual. Also live action RE3 Jill > live action RE5.

@Kaede: I can't determine that yet, to give it my full judgment I need to watch it two more times to have a firm opinion So far I haven't watched another movie released this year
@Neo: I saw a little of Alice fighting Nemesis H2H combat and that pushed me away from the live action movie series as full

Best part of the film was Wesker vs Chris and Claire. It had a lot of RE5's choreography and some dialogue which was cool.

Apocalypse was the best because it was the funniest and had the best action of it all with Nemesis.
