With Diablo III and Fallout 3 coming, I'd recommend the latter two.

I lurv action RPGs now and I enjoy MMOs. Lineage II, I played with a passion.

All I know about Lineage II is that the dark elves are sexy as all hell.

Action RPGs.

I only like that in the cases of SMT games. Because they let you keep most of your stuff after going through hell to obtain it!

Almost all RPGs made by Atlus has a New Game+ feature.

The light elves are so much prettier. And the only good dark elf class is Blade Dancer, everything else is crap. >_<

thats not much of a criteria
you could just make sure you never use any sort of vehicels in games and go by foot
that would eat up a lot of time

Honestly, I've been getting sick of RPGs for quite awhile. I can tell you that the last 3 games with RPG elements that I enjoyed playing with were Persona 3, Final Mix +, and FF10-2.

I still need to buy a Tales of game.

Pretty much any stuff Level 5 puts out. Not a big RPG fan. All I own is Dark Cloud, Dark Chronicle (which I love), and Rogue Galaxy. Yeah yeah, Dragon Quest 8 was Level 5 and I don't own it. I saw it for £5 today but I didn't buy it.
