What kind of RPGs do you like?

I really like stuff like SMT
but i do also really like battle RPGs
like fire emblem, shining force etc.

I prefer MMO's and turn based RPG's like Final Fantasy and Legend of the Dragoon.

Turn Based like the SMT Franchise. I also like some action-adventure RPG's.

All RPGs.. Well not all. But, mostly JRPGs.

Those are usually the most creative ones.

I like Pokemon (main RPG series), Tales of, Baten Kaitos, and Golden Sun (WHY did I give both of those games away?!)

yeah i hate trading in games
half the time i regret it

It wasn't just those two.

I traded in nearly all of my GBA games just so I could have enough money/store credit get one game.


Though, logically, I should have gotten more. Damn Gamestop and their rip-offs when it comes to that.

yeah thats the problem with chain stores
you end up trading in your games there as they are easy to go to
but then you realise they rip you off badly

Turn-based, real time, action, MMO, etc.; I like them all.

Megaten is probably my favorite JRPG franchise. My favorite "western" RPG franchise would likely be The Elder Scrolls.

Yeah. I seem to prefer jRPGs, too.

My friend tried to get me into WoW a long time ago, but after learning more about it, I don't think it'd appeal to me.

The only MMO I've played with a passion is FFXI. I couldn't get into WoW.

otherwise i would've checked out city of heroes

Baldur's Gate counts because of the accumulation of experience points, stat-- and skill progression, and so on. It's an action RPG, being a hack-and-slash.

x-men legends 2 was more upgradeable then baldurs gate
anf the othere two are probably borderline western RPGs i guess by that definition

I just looked up information on some of those other games and they do fall under the same category, apparently.

If you liked Dark Alliance at all, you should know that there are many other Baldur's Gate games. This is assuming you didn't already know that. XD

yeah i did consider getting the baldur's gate ones
or would you recommend diablo or fallout above them
all those games com in packs that are cheap now
