Is there any kind of unlockables in mercenaries

i only seem to unlock characters

is there any weapon unlocks or anything cool like in RE4
there seems to be nothing to unlock at all in merc reunion

i don't see why i should bother trying to get all S ranks with all characters
guess i'll just do it with the characters i like
