| the m3 has the higher concentration towards the center but when you upgrade the attack range, which should be called "attack spread", it upgrades the amount of pellets fired. 5 per upgrade iirc | |

| The Jailbreaker served me well back in RE4 so I wanted to use it here again, seems it's not as good though.
And yes, I have been taking full advantage of my melee attacks.

IIRC Jailbreaker and Hydra triple there damage and M3 doubles up close
M3 = 900 up close 1800 Jailbreaker = 350 up close 1050 Hydra = 550 up close 1650
Fire rate works in favour of the other two guns, but like i said unless its survivors I think M3 is a great choice. Also i don't play survivors. Generally speaking i just use the hydra now but before M3 was my main shotty. actually the hydra and the jailbreaker can infict more damage than the m3 up close, but like i said before, its a matter of whether all pellets hit The Hydra does. The Jailbreaker doesn't. The Jailbreaker gets a max of 1400 iirc while the Hydra gets a max of over 2000.

| the hydra and jailbreaker do far more than that. the numbers buu put down aren't correct either as those do much more as well. | |

| Put it this way if you want a gun like the Jailbreaker use the hydra
If you only want to use one gun use the M3

| The true firepower of the shotguns is:
number of pellets x damage stat
So the M3's firepower is at 6300 (7 pellets), Jail Breaker is at 5250 (15 pellets) and Hydra's at 8250 (15 pellets). If all of the pellets hit, the damage is actually higher than that of the magnums.

| For that reason i pretty much think the M3 is best for crowd control, although my understanding for exactly what the reason is was apparently slightly inaccurate.
Then again all of us agreed the hydra packed the biggest punch.

Its why i keep going on about the M3, you'll get that way quicker and mod it a lot easier, the hydra is stupidly expensive to get and mod, in total you'll spend like 200K i think

| should of gone with psg-1 over the magnum, the hydra can cover what the DEagle does, and the psg-1 can do what the DEagle does at long range except it's far more accurate at a much longer range
unless you gave the a.i the rifle but you should give the AI with it for the DEagle

| DEagle's more for precision and highly mobile bosses than regular enemies, really. The power on the little fucker is astounding too. | |

| even on mobile bosses the RPG is more than enough though
the only boss i could think of that would be better to use the DEagle over anything else is U-8 and maybe irving

| What, Wesker and Jill don't count? The damn Desert Eagle makes it easier to deal with them than the Hydra would. | |

| if you use anything but the rpg on that one you're probably going to give yourself a massive headache, especially if you play with the A.I.
for the easiest win you should immediately hide by one of the corners, jump out and fire an rpg, if he catches the rocket, fire another

| Oh wait that applies for that fight too? I had no idea, I thought it was just when Wesker is alone near the stealth bomber. | |

| i'm pretty sure you can do that, i had a very easy time since i did that, the jill part alone was more frustrating, iirc failing the QTE's = instant death, if you get hit by her counter attack, by the time you recover to get help from your partner, it is already too late since the dying gauge drops as you're getting up | |

| Ehh, you can also exploit Wesker's AI and lock him in a chain of Magnum blasts so I love using it for that fight for that reason too. | |
