Baal plays Resident Evil 5

Alright so I just finished the first part in Chapter 3 and christ I have mixed feelings about this game. On one hand, Chris and Sheva are decent characters and the controls feel much more natural now. However I the plot's pretty damn predictable... although that's for the better as RE's had a very bizarre story that made no sense in the past. Also Wesker is fucking Mr. Smith, no one moves that quickly which is just friggin' crazy awesome. Also, I see what people are talking about when they say Sheva has horrible AI because she's just all over the fucking place and doesn't seem to understand how to fucking toss the 20 grenades I gave her. The enemies range from pissy easy to ridiculously durable, where my only solution to killing them is just load bullets into their asses until they go down which wastes a lot of precious ammo.

But the worst offender is the ridiculously small inventory. Seriously, 9 fucking slots and I have to use armor for one of them if I want to not be hurt by Melee attacks much? What the fuck kind of logic is that.

Ah well, the game's still surprisingly fun and my favorite weapon is the damn stun rod. Seriously, there is no greater feeling than landing this thing on an enemy and watching them go down.

I didn't use armour till i played on professional.

Normal.

Shoot them in the head or the leg and use melee.

Alright just got past the first part of Chapter 4 and my favorite weapon tied with the stun rod is the Grenade Launcher.

They are both so awesome.

I can not believe I had to kill myself during the spider boss because Sheva refused to give me a fucking grenade.

What do you think of the controls compared to RE4?

They feel more natural and easier to handle, thankfully.

Christ, Jill's outfit makes her look like Nina Williams.

Just finished Chapter 5. Christ, Wesker and Jill were annoying mainly due to the AI being friggin' retarded and fighting Wesker straight up.

you really don't need the armour, i'd advise not wearing it. That will make you more cautious and help yu on your higher difficulty runs. I'll gladly play with you at some point, unless you lag cause i can't be assed with that shit on this game.

Fuck, I need to recollect all of my trophies for RE5 apparently they didn't Sync.

re5 trophies are easy aside from the pro one

Eh yeah, most of them weren't too hard to get.

On Professional, if you don't literally keep tapping circle for Sheva to stay with you, she will blindly go after Jill and get OHKO'd.

So I guess I should get a partner for Professional, then?

That rush near the end is ridiculous.

Just beat it. I hate how the fucking input says "Hold" but it shows the button being rapdily pushed, it gets confusing at times.

Oh right. They meant hold the super powerful guy so that he can be injected by the thing he can't dodge. A needle.

Or you can just waste a rocket launcher on him and explode it on him in 5-3. He has to have just turned the corner though.

Anyways, that boulder punching was awesome.

I'm surprised Chris didn't break his hand doing that.

Those kind of boulders are made of volcanic rock (pumice) which is pretty much half composed of air, and very light. I'm assuming the main reason Chris couldn't just push it was due to dramatic effect.

Although it made no sense how they weren't all burning alive IN THE LAVA FLOW. Christ, it's amazing how far Capcom is willing to go for the Rule of Cool.
