and you can change difficulty mid game i think
i've not needed to change difficulty yet though

I'll start with Hard.

you'll have to wait an hour before you fight

Just finished the first game's story.

Onto the second and then the actual game.

yakuza 2's story was generally shit

the game was way better then the story they tacked on to it

And done with Yakuza 2's story, NOW FOR THE ACTUAL GAME.

btw remember being pissed makes everything harder and significant;y ups enemy encounters

Beating up street punks was fucking satisfying.

Just beat Majima.

Lost to him twice before utilizing the targeting and blocking.

he almost caught me off guard
luckily my dodging wasn't too rusty
but damn thats a shockingly hard fight for basically the beginning of the game

Just beat Rikiya on the first try, although barely.

I started utilizing the dodging here and weapons around me.

Me and him had a sliver of health left and I managed to slam him in the face after he tried to grab me for the umpteenth time.

I didn't have much trouble with Majima. I just attacked and attacked some more. Screw dodging and blocking, I'm the Dragon of Dojima! ...Although Rikiya did give me a scare, I finished him off with a HEAT Weapon Finish.

were you playing on hard?

on my first play throughs on the first two i played on normal and managed to get away doing that on early fights (didn't work on the majima hotel fight)
this one on hard seems to punish you hard if you rush him

Alright I'll leave off before the start of Chapter 3.

I'll play more after school tomorrow.

i'm sure your not playing on easy are you
anyway normal should be sufficiently challenging
just means they block slightly less and boss fights aren't stupidly long

I play ALL of my games on Easy. -_- I've done so since I was first given the option as a small child. It's just so much more fun for me to beat up a nearly defenseless AI than it is to get pissed at a slightly challenging one.

I used to do that.

...Then I manned up and started playing the harder ones. Now I only play on normal or hard from the start.

Well, I have started playing Mega Man 2 recently.....With save states. -_-

Okay, I'll admit I'm a wuss when it comes to games that are meant to test me. (Case in point, I Wanna Be The Guy, I'd play on Medium just so I can make it to Mike Tyson, But I never did make it to him.)

But games that make for good stress relievers (Case in point, This game here) I always go casual/easy because I like feeling better after a fight instead of spending 20 minutes being pissed about not being able to beat some-one.

The only time I went the hardest difficulty was in Saints 2 with Buu. And that was just so he wouldn't complain about me boring him with weak enemies. XD
