Baal plays God of War

So I've beaten Poseidon, Hades and Helios so far and now I'm currently in a room full of boxes.

Any questions from anyone?

Not yet, but I haven't found Aphrodite yet, so we can only guess.

Well so far the only other Weapon I have is Hades Chains. And I like them a lot, but I wouldn't consider them to be as useful as the Blades, even though they do summon spirits to help you.

That's not to say you can't make great use of them. I beat Hades by using them and had a lot of fun doing so/

Although she did love a few men, the most prominent one in my head right now being Hephaestus.

Speaking of him, he's voiced by Zedd from Men in Black and Zeus in the Disney Hercules oh and he's the most sympathetic character in the game.

When you upgrade the Hades chains a little bit, you can summon MUCH better stuff ie: gorgons, chimera and cyclops. And the last two weapons you get are absolutely amazing.

The story is pretty good. Although I thought Gaia would value Kratos a bit more, because after both of them are struck down by Zeus she pretty much outright says "THIS IS OUR WAR YOU LITTLE SHIT! SO YOU CAN GO BURN IN HELL!"

Man, was it satisfying to send her plummeting back to the bottom after I got out of the Underworld.

And the story is pretty good. Not RPG standard, but Kratos does have proper motivations, moreso later on in the game.

I finished the game a few days ago and I think it was amazing. Not as good as GoW 2, but it's hard to top that one.

The Chronos fight is the best thing in the entire trilogy though and the final battle against Zeus is incredibly satisfying.

Holy shit, this game has the best boss fights in the series so far.

Hades' fight was awesome and the fight with Hercules was even better.

Oh and I have a complaint about the Hercules battle, as awesome as it was and even though it used my favorite track in the series, WHAT FUCKING IDIOT TURNS AROUND TO GLOAT TO HIS STEPMOTHER AFTER BLINDING THE ENEMY FOR A FEW SECONDS?

I know the Gods of Olympus are fucking arrogant beyond all belief and it's not hard to believe their children would inherit this, but you'd think they'd have enough common fucking sense to not underestimate the guy who killed one of their own twice and has managed to kill more since he showed up.
