Because God threw several people down here who don't deserve damnation, threw babies down here because they were unbaptized and actually damnated Cleopatra and Marc Antony because they loved each other but Celopatra was also with another man.

| I'm pretty sure unbaptized babies go to Purgatory in The Divine Comedy. Been a while since I read it though. Still, I wouldn't be that surprised if they went to Hell. That's original sin for you.
I did find it amusing that there was a level of hell for people who were perfectly good but just happened to have lived and died before Jesus, which means they can't get into Heaven. | |

| Well...I can spoil the movie's ending. If you really want to know, You know what to do. - Spoiler:
Dante almost losses to Lucifer, Who is about to escape Hell (For a reason I forget right now, But I think it had something to do with Dante being there and fucking shit up.) to do whatever he wishes. Dante then prays to God to give him the strength to keep Lucifer in Hell, Even if it meant Dante staying with him (The selfless sacrifice bullshit.). Lucifer then losses and is then trapped within a jagged block of ice. Dante then proceeds to Purgatory, Which happened to be right inside a hole in the ground (Despite being in Cocytice or whatever it's called, Apparently, Lucifer was charged with "guarding" the "entrance".) Then, Dante and Beatrice live happily ever after in purgatory, Which just happens to look like the regular world. The End...Please, Visceral, No Sequels.

| I also like how Vergil speaks ill of others in these Circles, as if he has some right to be talking down to people. Good lord, he's not even useful, he's only really there to explain the circles of hell for people who are too dumb to understand what the hell people are doing in the Circles.

| Yes, I'm playing it at the hardest difficulty I can and I've died out of two causes.
1. My own stupidity gets me sometimes.
2. The game fucks me over on a jump and I end up eating a game over sandwich because I missed said jump and fall into the abyss. | |
