| You're probably all leveled up and stuff though. Plus I doubt I'll be playing it much. | |

| You might find some parts hard if your weapons are really shitty or something but it's not a difficult game by any means. | |

| The arena one is kinda shitty, haven't played the zombie or claptrap ones but the armory one is pretty good and gives you a higher level cap+better shit to find once you hit it. | |

| can't say I really like this, got it for free too with PS+ haven't played it for too long yet, but honestly, that's cause I felt like not playing longer, and I guess that kind of speaks for itself..
but maybe I'm wrong and it'll get more fun further down the line, not giving up on it yet.

| i'll try to play this as much as possible if the dlc price is limited time only. if it bores me like dead island i'll probably skip the dlc. but 10 dollars for four packs sounds nice | |

| It's not that hard, simply because anything you find difficult you can overcome by finding better weapons. But if you can't find any better weapons because you're unlucky or something, it can get difficult. Or if you try to punch above your weight and take on something several levels higher than yourself. | |

| i struggled against moe and marley but ended up finally beating them. took a ton of ammo though. this is still easier than dead island which had a stupidly high difficulty spike at one point. | |

If those are the two animals and like different elements maybe I can't remember then thats probably the hardest fight in the game, if you got thorugh that you'll have clean sailing till the end of the game, although IIRC there is one side mission which had a huge difficulty spike, but that might have depended on when i found it.

Really? I found that to be relatively easy and the first encounter with the Guardians was the most difficult. Though this could just be from playing different classes.

| Forgot to say BD but one of the DLCs raises the level cap to 61 so you might be interested. - Lord Skip wrote:

I think I was playing as Mordecai, and as i was using a sniper i pretty much got mauled by the animals. The guardians on the other hand i blew to pieces. The side mission i was talking about: - Spoiler:
Was when you fight those guys roland used to fight for, they seemed to have as good if not better guns than me. It was a pretty long side mission IIRC.

| I was using Mordecai too, but my equipment was pretty shit when I faced the guardians so that could have been it.
I avoided the dogs through sniping while running away and liberal use of the bird.

| I never played Borderlands, but for those who are interested I've just read a review of the sequel in GamesMaster magazine. They liked it. A lot. Like a ninety five percent review score a lot.
I must admit, I'm intrigued...

| it's pretty fun. gameplay wise, it feels like a baby fallout with multiplayer to me
without VATS that is
also weapons are like diablo weapons in that they have various stats and properties

| I don't really think it's like Fallout at all aside from it being set in a barren world, the Diablo comparison is much more appropriate as it's pretty much the same game from a different perspective and some elements dumbed down a bit.
From my experience with Mordecai and Lilith I can safely say that playing Mordecai is easy mode versus Guardians. 90% of their health is their shields and you can get the ability that outright ignores shields on every enemy, at that point they die in one or two shots from just about anything. With any other character you pretty much have to use shock weapons and empty shitloads of ammo into them to wear them down.

Yeah but you don't have that bitchin' shield bypass ability the first time you fight them, that's only for the end game, at which point they become an utter joke with Mordecai.

I don't think you ever fight them outside of sidequests until the end, do you?
