Adam Sessler did a segment on G4 about this shooter and it looks alright. Could turn out really fun.

Adam Sessler is probably one of the only decent reviewers at G4 anymore so I'd take his opinion to heart.

I heard there was an absolutely massive problem with the online co-op.

It may be a co-op game at heart, but one can still enjoy it as a singleplayer experience.

Good choice. It doesn't have much story without looking deep into it, but it's fun none the less.

If you are the "loot whore" kind of gamer, then you will absolutely love this game. Every, and I mean EVERY, gun in this game is different from it's fellows, even if by miniscule amounts... and those that are vastly different, ho ho ho! Trust me, when you finally get your hands on an Eridian Cannon, you will weep tears of joy.

Yeah the eridian cannon is badass, it shoots balls of energy for christ sake.
I also love the Volcano sniper, something about watching a guys head explode into fiery goodness that I can't pass up.

I fucking love Maliwan guns. I play as Siren, so pretty much anything with an element rapes
