I was in GAME the other day and heard a mother asking about the difference between Skate and Skate 2. Obviously all the employee knew was that one was the sequel to the other, but she managed to spin that out for a few minutes.

I'm sure it's not that hard to BS in that kind of scenario;

"Yes, yes, this is the sequel, so it's got improved graphics, more responsive and varied gameplay, including extra gameplay modes. It's a tenner more than the original, but well worth that. By the way, would you like to preorder Modern Warfare 3?"

Haha, thats pretty much what they're like.

I never get why they don't employ people who are into games to a degree.

It's the same with a lot of jobs; just because someone works in a particular industry, doesn't mean said industry is a hobby of theirs. For instance, my first job was working at the local Theatre Royal. Now, I have no interest in theatre whatsoever, but at the time I was unemployed and the job offer was part of a training scheme that did eventually get me a full-time job there. It wasn't what I wanted to do, but needs must.

I left there to work in the motor trade because I love cars and engineering, but the job was soul destroyingly dull, so I left that to work in a bank, back when everyone thought being a banker was a respectable, well paid job. Of course, it was neither of those. When I got made redundant, I was lucky enough to be offered another job in the motor trade by a contact I'd made the first time around.

So while I'm currently working in an industry related to something I love, I'm well aware that isn't always going to be the case. GAME seems to be a perfect example of case in point; people are hired with no real enthusiasm for gaming. It might seem an obvious own goal to a knowledgable consumer, but for the staff member in question, they were likely just bloody happy to have a job at all.

Got to tier 8. Using the Pesticide Rifle might as well be cheating. As long as you're far enough away from the explosion that is. It whites out the whole screen and kills pretty much everything. I ran to the other side of the level, sniped the queen ant 3 times and it was dead. I took out all 4 hectors with a single shot. Not a single shot each mind you, a single shot.

I know you were saying you want to feel overpowered in this game buu, but this is something else.

Yes. Trust me, the extra dialogue is will leave you stunned and confused.

Eh, once I got the pesticide rifle the last two levels were a joke. The only thing that posed any threat to me was getting caught in my own blast. I'll lay off the game until Neo or Simian picks it up and I start another class.

You reckon your helping me through inferno, you can use the pesticide if you want i just want weapon drops.

Yeah, sure. I'll need the money at some point. But it's only worth using the rifle for the last two levels. I got through the other levels easily enough. You just have to leave the bots on.

You'll get barely any exp compared to me if I use the rifle by the way.

All the pesticide weapons have massive blasts. The Jet one is a sniper rifle, I think the Battle one is a mortar. Don't know the others.

I actually have another sniper rifle with an exploding shell that I found tonight. Not that good though.

it doesn't sound very fun to use. but i guess it will make finding those awesome final weapons all th emore fun.

Also i hope all the dlc weapons are tier 7

The DLC has weapons for all tiers.
