Tyrion is even more of a boss in the second season than he was in the first, and there have only been 3 episodes so far.

So I'm all caught up now and feel so empty now that I have to wait for the next episode. Guess I'll go read the books or something.

So uh, I've been reading A Storm of Swords and I just finished Caetlyn VII.

Also today's episode was alright but it wasn't as good as the last two weeks (Dany's storyline is complete rubbish right now. I love book Dany and I love Emilia Clarke, but TV Dany is such a whiny brat). Loved Ygritte and the Arya/Tywin scenes though.

Also, Theon's fake out with the orphan kids wasn't nearly as balls-to-the-wall horrific (or believable) as it was in the books. I'm particularly worried about "Reek's" absence.

You could make an argument for Meera and Jojen being vital too, but where are they?

They're not vital, their entire purpose is to develop Bran's character. "Reek" plays a major role in the story.

Yeah but how can Bran's character develop properly if he's just chillin with Hodor?

I assume they'll just give Jorjen and Meera's lines to Osha and not split them up.

I agree with these parts being good. The My lord/milord line was pulled from a conversation Roose Bolton has with "Reek" in ADwD for some reason though.

This is true, book Dany is wrathful and can get very damn angry, this Dany is just whiny though. However Cat is far more badass in this one episode than in the entire second book, so it sort of balances out.

I think about 5% of this episode actually happened in the books though, Sansa'a and Cersei's conversation after Sansa gets her period and freaks out.

I'm two chapters into Book 4 and already it feels like a slog.
