you're right, I haven't really thought it through, might indeed be some sort of trick to make us believe he's dead.

Still, I don't understand why Brienne would keep him alive though, seeing as she wants revenge for Renly. Unless she can use him somehow to help get Sansa safe.

so apparently, going by some interviews, Stannis is actually dead.


also, there's this whole thing going on about how Jon Snow's eye color seems to change and become lighter during that last scene.

Interviews about characters being "really dead, for serious, you guys" don't really mean anything. They're not going to 'kill' a character off in a season finale only to then immediately tell you he's going to be fine.

I think they're both still on contract just in case.

Stannis is for real dead because David and Dan fucking hate him.

The total ruination of Stannis in the last three epsiodes was so contrived and comically over the top that it makes perfect sense that he's dead.

Season 5 was a fucking mess. TWOW needs to come out soon because Season 6 might be completely irredeemable.

I'm massively late to the party, but I'm now starting season 1.

Hope they show Brandon Stark in season 6. Poor boy got completely ignored this season.

Honestly, I do think he is really dead, if he wasn't they wouldn't just go out and blatantly lie about it. They'd sort of evade the question by giving non-answers.

I was going to read the books first before I watched any of the new seasons, but I honestly don't wanna do the effort to spoiler dodge everything, as I pretty much wouldn't be able to go online anymore.

Couple of surprises in the first episode, and that ending was WTF.

It's genuinely baffling they decided to cut it the way they did then.

Episode 4 was great. The end to 5 was just silly.

I thought the ending was fine, I was kind of touched by it to be honest, maybe it's just the realisation of how he become Hodor, but somehow it hit me a bit harder than it probably should've. but the fact that it's a thing on the internet now, probably does mean they did something right.


I'm also mad Victarion fucking Greyjoy isn't in this. The biggest badass and he's not in it.

Nice to see after 7 episodes that the show didn't go back to that retarded Dorne storyline.

oh man, that last episode.

This whole season has been such a treat for so many questions left unanswered before. Absolutely fucking loved it.

The soundtrack for this episode was incredible. Awesome episode all-round.
