ugh Jinpachi again... here comes the inevitable rage

He's not anything like he was in Tekken 5 so I'm sure he'll be manageable.

I don't know, i kinda lost faith in these guys after they did the same with Azazel (or what's it's name) in Tekken 6...



Tekken games used to be fun, but 5 and 6 made me rage like I never raged before..

He's playable now.

The only thing hard in tekken was that zoe thing and that was mainly due to the time limit.

Saw it on TZ and I thought I may as well post it here. It hasn't even been a week since the game's release, so it's likely to be quite inaccurate, but anyway:

1st Japanese TTT2 Tier List (more like Japanese players' first impressions)

S: Heihachi, Devil Jin, Kazuya
A: Law, Jaycee, Steve, Lars, Bruce, Jack-6, Bryan, Zafina, Lili, Hwoarang, Marduk
B: Dragunov, Paul, Jin, Jun, Leo, Eddy/Christie, Yoshimitsu, Bob, King, Jinpachi
C: Miguel, Raven, Asuka, Anna, Nina, Lee, Armor King, Ling, Feng
D: Roger Jr., Ogre, Lei, Wang, Baek, Alisa, Ganryu, Kuma/Panda

Zafina must have been buffed A LOT.

Hwoarang on A? Must be my lucky day if I ever play TTT2. Same thing with Jin being on B. They're my best two.

Take it with a grain of salt, I'd give the game half of a year before I trust any tier lists.

You're right. Other than Mishimas being top tier (again), the list is probably wrong.

How do Hwoarang and Jin generally do in the Tekken games?

Hwoarang: hard and mediocre so far (probably better this time); he's not a beginner-friendly character
T3-Tag Jin /Devil Jin (same moveset): usually top or high tier, but good execution skills are kinda required
Jin: he was broken in T4 and pretty high in T6 vanilla, but low on T6BR's tier lists; much easier to play than the other two though

I noticed that Hwoarang's combos aren't so beginner friendly, replaying T3 recently and found Jin's a lot easier to pull off. Back in the arcade days I used to mash the lighter of Hwoarang's kicks and kicked everyone's ass until some actual decent player came in and whipped me for button mashing.

this game has been out for a couple weeks in Japan right? How the hell is there already a teir list?

Hopefully there's a season of Tekken Crash for TTT2 soon so I can get a real look at the game.

It's to show what the general consensus is on how good the characters are at any point and time. Right now since the game just came out in Arcades it's only natural this is a tier list that's going to be a work in progress.

I gotta admit, I'm liking the look of the story. Jun being the main boss and going all dark chick is pretty interesting, I honestly can't wait for this game it looks like a lot of fun. The customization and gameplay looks like ridiculous amounts of hilarity and crazy combos combined.

The game is getting updated to Tekken Unlimited Tag Tournament 2. You can now fight 1 on 1 or 1 on 2 as well as the normal 2 on 2.
