| A deadite pops up the store and attacks people. Ash breaks into the weapons and kills the thing then kisses this one girl who was talking to him.
Plus Army of Darkness made laugh more than 2 did so it's automatically better. | |

| Ah, that's the theatrical release. The special edition is a bit longer and has the original ending, where Ash sleeps too long and wakes up to find the world destroyed.
I just didn't like the old "chosen one" plot. | |

Well really I'd only buy Army of Darkness for it's humor. The first two movies show how Ash came to be the chainsaw-toting badass he is although the first was... ehhhh. The second was much better due to the fact it actually was humorous and seemed more like a parody of horror movies (to me at least) than an actual horror movie. Then Raimi just decided to give the people what they wanted with Army of Darkness and made it about violence and humor and that was fantastic. TL;DR Version: THe first one is your typical zombie bullshit fare. The second one makes fun of it. And the third makes fun of it and makes it seem badass. | |
