| -I love you, Man.
I thought this was alright. Paul Rudd himself manages to be quite funny in trying to find a male friend and when he does meet Sydney it's fucking hilarious. Jason Sedel was a fun character who I felt sorry for when he was trying to hang out with someone towards the end. Lou Ferigno, J.K. Simmons and Andy Samberg are three actors I really like to watch do comedy. Lou Ferigno is funny in how nice of a guy he is but he can be an asshole when it comes down to it, J. K. Simmons acts like his relationship with Andy is some ultimate friendship and how he acts about that is hilarious, and Andy Samberg is... well Andy Samberg, so he's naturally funny. The movie did have some irritating points like how it dragged on with the relationships of some of the other characters, constant F-Bomb dropping, and the Dog shit jokes were pretty bad, but overall I enjoyed it.
-Star Trek
Holy fuck, this movie was good. I don't think there was a single member of the group I didn't like and the whole Future Sock thing was cool too, then again I'm a fan of Leonard Nimoy for no real reason so it's always good for me to see more of him. The fights were somewhat well-coordinated. Some things I didn't like were how much it dragged on at points, Sulu using a fucking Katana and having troubles with flying a spaceship wasn't really funny, and the scene with young Jim in his stepdad's car was fucking stupid. Good movie that I enjoyed a lot though.
-Escape from New York
Five words, Kurt Russell and Isaac Hayes! Oh god, these two are awesome and I can see why this is a cult-classic. I fucking love how Snake takes everyone down even after he starts getting his ass handed to him. I found Cabbie to be very likeable and was pretty pissed at his sudden death. That minefield towards the end really seemed like more of a plot device for the characters to die for no real reason other than making the President look like a douche in the end. And speaking of the President, he went fuck nuts in the end and that was glorious. And this series also has my respect for spawning Solid Snake.
-Fight Club
Okay, let me get this out of the way. Brad Pitt is a great actor, more than I gave him credit for in the past. Edward Norton's character was also very well done too. The fights were bloody as hell and the whole idea of making a Fighting Ring for unfulfilled men to beat the shit out of each other. However the plot strangely evolved several times. At the start Edward Norton's character is just a guy who hates his life and goes to all of these seminars when nothing is even wrong with him then he meets Tyler and Fight Club starts. That's all well and good but then it changes into Tyler starting Fight Clubs around the whole world and him becoming a fucking mystery to find. AND THEN it turns into a plan to destroy corporate buildings to reduce the credit rate to zero and give everyone a fresh start. Really it just felt very weird how it evolved. And before that the movie pulls a fucking plot twist that I did not see coming and it was so brilliantly constructed. I'm not gonna spoil it but fuck was it mind-blowing. Fantastic movie.
-Toy Story 1 & 2 in 3-D
While my eyes had begun hurting somewhere in the middle of the second movie, I enjoyed these as much as I remember, maybe even more now that I got some of the jokes I never did when I was younger. The first movie was an instant classic and I loved how Mr. Potato Head kept getting his ass kicked after trying to lead everyone against Woody. I knew they had a reason but fuck he was an ass about it. I remember the ending sequence being one of the best in the whole movie and I keep wondering how to this day I wasn't scared by Sid being attacked by the Toys, especially when Woody voiced by Tom Hanks spins his head around and then actually talks (Like moving his mouth and everything) and then freaks Sid the fuck out. Oh yes and the ever so wonderful Buzz voiced by Tim Allen. "I AM MRS. NESBITT!"
Toy Story 2 I enjoyed more than 2. I never did know why I enjoyed it more. But it had Wayne Knight now and fuck if I don't love Wayne Knight in about anything he's in. I also loved the Star Wars reference and how after Zurg reveals he's Buzz's father to Buzz #2 they're suddenly the greatest family ever. It was quite surprising that the Prospector was the Big Bad, especially since with how nice he acts you'd think otherwise. Jessie's past sequence was really freaking sad and I liked how Woody's round-up is kind of an homage to Woody's original design.
Also the intermission was quite fun too, with fun facts about Toy Story I didn't know and a few funny skits.

| -_- 9 will have to wait until it hits DVDs. It's stopped playing where I'm at. Anyway, Yeah, Fight Club is fucking awesome. But not nearly as awesome as Escape From New York. Snake Plisken TOTALLY owns New York. | |

Okay, Okay. I picked up on it after Tyler didn't answer the phone when the Condo blew up. But it was still fucking awesome. | |
