i made an amusing discovery about power rangers the other day
though it was probably blaringly obvious to everyone

basically the whole series is made in japan and then they relase it here and redo all the non masked rangers bits with western actors

I knew that for the longest time now..

i'm 99% sure
when i was on holiday i noticed in asia they were showing the series way ahead

and then when watching the western version monster were wrecking the city
it didn't look particularly american and then i noticed every single person in the shot was japanese
and normally when they were walking around there were no japanese people

also the rangers stunt doubles are not even the same size as there unmasked counterparts, if this was a western production they would have accounted for that

lastly didn't all the scenes with power rangers in look dubbed?

I haven't watched Power Rangers in about a decade, I can't remember much about it.

you didn't know that eh? It didnt come to your mind that the yellow ranger, being female in NA, didnt have a skirt in Ranger form but the Pink Ranger did? In Japan, the yellow ranger was a guy.
