God fucking dammit, why is it so hard to make Usopp do something? Why didn't he just snipe this little girl with a pellet or something? Like jesus, can this story move along already? literally none of these new characters are interesting except for Toy Soldier who finally got an awesome reveal.

I really just want Doflamingo to fight already.

Robin being turned into a toy is just ughh. She'd be the last person to be tricked like that.

It's perhaps worth mentioning, but we never saw Robin signing a contract, which suggests she may still be able to put up some fight and may not be forced to follow orders.  That said, I can't see her doing much in toy form if she was so ineffective in human form.  It seems like a way for Oda to effectively write off another character - he's been poor in terms of giving all the SHs enough screen time since the timeskip - but Robin grabbing Sugar the way she did is certainly in character.  Usopp running though... I know, I know, we'll spend a week or two thinking he's a damn coward, and he'll do something to turn the tide, especially given the emphasis put on him at the end by everyone else, but right now him just running feels stupid.  Wasn't the whole point of post TS Usopp that he doesn't do that kind of thing anymore?  
 
I was going to suggest he'll come back in and give us our first glimpse of post-TS Sogeking, but with Robin now a toy would Usopp actually remember being Sogeking, what with the way that was tied into Robin's rescue?

He could still remember it as being a disguise to hide his identity from his other fellow crew members. The reason as to why he had to do that would still remain, as his falling out with Luffy had nothing to do with Robin. He just wouldn't remember what he was fighting for at the time or how they even reunited. He'd just know he put on this mask and went around pretending to be some superhero sniping king thingy at some point because he didn't want his friends to know who he was due to the whole Merry incident.

Wouldn't be surprised if that happened and Usopp wound up looking like a coward while his alter ego got all the glory he actually deserves.

This arc fucking sucks and that Reddit theory is so meta it has to be a joke. Otherwise it's pathetic to see someone try and cobble Oda's bad writing into something good despite the fact that is literally not what he is doing.

NARUTO AND BLEACH are not only better paced, but more enjoyable than One Piece is right now, let's let that sink in.

That flashback went by so fast that it was almost comical. They should always do it like that.

Also, that last page spread is proof that Oda has gone insane and now wishes to bestow on us eldritch nightmares.

I guess I wasn't expecting that way of knocking Sugar unconscious. I'll give Oda that much credit for that. >_<

What an odd way to pace the chapter. Case in point; how old was Scarlet when she gave birth to Rebecca? She was introduced as "age 16" then two pages later she's married with a kid, the only indication that time has passed being that Violet looks a bit older.

Not a fan of the gag ending either, though hopefully it means that everything is about to kick off.

Thank goodness for this. I really liked this chapter and I'm glad that things are finally starting to move at a palpable pace. And now we get a week hiatus only to have a hiatus after the next chapter too.

Is Rebecca the worst character in One Piece?

Depends on whether she's really going commando or not.

It's a known fact that every anime girl is under the age of 18 unless they look like they're <10, in which case they're probably 10,000.

So the supposedly 30 year old Robin is really still under the age of 18?

She's the exception that proves the rule. I also didn't account for women who look old, although they're not very anime so it's ok I think.

Even though we're led to believe that the series started off with her being at that very age, is Nami actually under 18?

She went through puberty over the span of the series.

What about Kokoro and Kureha? They must be really young.

Old women don't count, we've been over this Sora.

So all anime girls enter some kind of metamorphosis cocoon and then come out as old women after a day or two?
