Getting over your grief in two seconds is completely unrealistic and there isn't a single series or show that just whisks away the grief that comes after an important person in the protagonist's life dies. But I guess that's to expext from shitty American comics that only cater to the lowest common denominator. Peter doesn't have a childlike mind? He's a FUCKING 15 YEAR OLD. He's an insecure fuck who doesn't have his head clear at that point in his life. What's worse is that not only did his Uncle die, but because of that death, he can never apologize for what he said and for the immature things he did during those last few moments when his uncle was still alive. He was acting like a total piece of shit. And obviously he didn't get over his anxiety quickly, what kind of idiot would actually believe that? Since when the hell do pages = length of time? Dude, use some common sense. Like I said before, ever since Ben's death, we get an important revelation happening with Peter starting his life of crime fighting with a narration that vents his feelings and understandings of his responsibilities. The chapter then ends with him succumbing to his grief in tears after running into Mary Jane, why would we need half a chapter of that when it's already established that he's in mourning? In One Piece, what was Luffy spending 2/3 of a chapter bashing the shit out of nature while screaming with nothing really happening throughout the course of his bitch fit other than making stupid faces. Then instead of having him actually receiving any character development or learning anything about what happened after he blacked out, we get the beginning of a fucking flashback that shouldn't have to be done, and if it does, it should have been done long before the past few recent arcs. Why are we only learning about their closeness and brotherly love NOW AFTER ACE FUCKING DIED? Oda's basically saying "Okay, now you have to care about Ace's death, but I forgot to actually make you care about the person himself and his relationship with the protagonist so here's a flashback to make you pay attention." Quit fanboying, spending pages making someone bitch fit =/= showing how much they really feel inside and how much they have to go through. You don't NEED TO spend ages having them go through those so called "stages" and bore us through that shit(and if you actually decide to do it, you could just apply it to the story, mix it in with pivotal conversations, it doesn't need its own lengthy scene with assloads of pages blatantly being wasted with shots of a guy punching crap while flashes of the death scene keeps appearing). Narutard and its shittiness did the same thing before so don't hate on superior American comics for crap Japan has a hard on for. Damn, I'm gone for a week and you've already gotten yourself weeaboo'd up without my guidance to prevent that from happening.

| 'Kay, new chapter's up(although only on OneManga for now so either wait for Mangastream's better translation or just endure the fucked up Engrish).
Boring and lame as usual. Man this stupid, unnecessary flashback better not last long.

| + The cover was fucking amazing. Crocodile, Mr. 1 and hippo? Yes please. + Luffy's beatdown was pretty brutal. He deserves it for being such a retard. + Luffy's bawwwface was actually hilarious this time in a good way + They rounded up the whole kidnapped thing pretty quick. With last chapter's boring ass pacing, I'd expected to take at least two more chapters before that was said and done + The promise of a Celestial Dragon is pretty damn exciting. It also means that after the flashback the story will most likely move back to Sabaody, which should be great too
- I just do not care abou Ace. Get over your shit already and become your at least bearable Alabasta era self - These villains are just too cooky cutter - Sabo has no personality
Let the bitching begin.

| I am very happy.
With the swearing, that is. It adds so much depth to the characters and really shows their emotions.

| No really, why'd it take a whole chapter just to save Luffy? It was a whole cocktease just to get us pumped up for next week considering that's when the interesting stuff obviously will happen.
Oda's mean. | |

| This chapter had less dialogue than a Bleach chapter.
And where are my Celestial Dragons?!
I HATE YOU ODA. | |

| I liked that there was worldbuilding in this, but then I have to ask why there is worldbuilding in a flashback...
Unless this is going to be arc length.
OH NO. | |

| Ew, ew, ewwww! Cringe worthy angst scenes revolving around a character who we're probably supposed to sympathize despite us not being given a chance/time to care about him yet?
Wait a minute. I've...I've seen this somewhere before...

| But it will probably go full force in following chapters.
You're not supposed to sympthasize with him anyway. Luffy clearly doesn't. He doesn't even acknowledge him anymore.

| No. Peter Parker actually endures real shit and we actually do care about him because he's the mother fucking Spider-Man.
I'm pretty sure Sabo is a non-transexual version of Xion.
