| After spending about 15 seconds looking for the racing game board before realizing there wasn't one, I decided to put this here. How's the new Mario Kart for Wii? Just downloaded Mario Kart 64 for Virtual Console, and it ain't bad. Is the new one worth the extra money? | |

| MK64 is the best one in the series, I think.
MKWii is only good for the online play. That is the only feature worth playing, IMO.

| Many might disagree, but I found Double Dash enjoyable, too. | |

| 64 is the only one I've played. The Wii is the first Nintendo system I've played significantly since the SNES. | |

| The Wii's not actually mine anyway, so I very rarely buy games for it myself. | |

| MKWii is only worth it for online, IMO. The AI in the game is dead easy to beat due to all the different ways to acquire speed boosts. | |

| I've only played 10 or so of the track so far, at the 50cc level, but is there any use to the breaks? So far just sliding round the corners works. | |

| It depends, on n64 just hold L or R and turn while accelerating then you pulled a drift but when it comes to sharp sharp corners you'll neeed to tap it a couple times to get a sharper drift |

| L and R are shoulder buttons on the N64 right? That's probably be ZL and ZR on the Wii controller then. | |

| Heres a short cut on dk level, not really a short cut but it will boost you up a couple places.
On the jump across the river aim slightly to the left, you'll get ahead of some racers. Once you land tap A and you'll accelerate faster thus you may stick with the place you ended up with for a while. I get past the boxes before but thats a hard one |

But L and R were the shoulder buttons right? Yea Alright then. That might be difficult on the wii classic controller. It has 4 shoulder buttons, but all in a row, so there's two big ones one the outside of the controller and two small ones right on top of the controller. And those would be the slide buttons. The other two are jump and weapon.

| if you hold the jump button when cornering, you'll drift around it, its great for the long turns and if you use the e-brake(one of the normal buttons) during it, you can make a sharp turn at the cost of some speed | |
