Didn't Toei actually bore us to death with that Buggy cover story, what other cover chapters were also animated? I remember seeing some of the Coby one being shown, but I bet that was just a flashback, right?

It wasn't a flashback. There's two episodes based on Coby's coverstory after Whiskey Peak.

Oda is spoonfeeding Toei material for filler, like coverstories and vague battles in Impel Down and Marineford, but instead Toei opts for repetitive AU storylines and filling up episodes with Buggy taking a piss. No that actually happened. Buggy and the Impel Down crew LITERALLY TOOK A PISS FOR HALF AN EPISODE.

Ok after Alabasta, what the fuck are the Straw hats doing? They've just been cruizin' the grand line with absolutely no purpose. They are now with this dude who likes goats but I don't know what is next in their whole grand scheme of things. Did I completely miss it or was it just a terrible transition into filller?
