| although I have the same feeling that it was a film about nothing, I still quite liked it. Apocalypse still looks stupid, but at least the character felt good imo. | |

| I liked this, thought it was very enjoyable. Having said that, - Spoiler:
I think I'd have liked it much more if instead of the weapon x tangent, we got Apocalypse taking over and the X-Men forming a resistance movement. I think that opposing and overthrowing him is a more interesting story than stopping him. I largely agree with Kaio about it feeling like a MCU movie, and I think the plot being what is was contributed in no small way.
Plus, that way the movie is actually about something. Quicksilver is fucking great though.

| Well it's the first X-Men movie that was just about stopping the bad guy. Every other time the root of the conflict has been how mutants and humans co-exist. Having the most powerful mutant ever show up and get defeated in 90 minutes did feel weird after so many movies with more interesting plots (not counting the Wolverine movies). | |

| I really like this movie. On first view, I have no gripe or nitpick to list. | |

| I wasn't a fan of this its definitely not on par with first class. I felt the film built up something that didnt really happen. I was also disappointed that transforming apocalypse was only in xavier's mind I was hoping he was going to turn giant and lay the smackdown.
I definitely have issue with quicksilver his scenes are cool but he seems like a get out of ail free card would've been better if people died in the mansion time. Just fathom the speed he's travelling at, I mean he gets in and out of the mansion a ton of times with a bunch of people within a second or two. It just seems unbelivably hax. Unless Im missing something a child version of quicksilver shouldn't be that ridiculous. Oh and he still has time for jokes. I dunno I fell like the film is missing something.
I'm not sure why movieverse hates storm and she goes from one of the cooler x-men to someone completely forgetable in every film.

The events of Days of Future Past take place in 1973 (as Cyclops teacher said in her scene), this story takes place a decade later. Quicksilver should be in his mid 20s.
