Is that really how bad the show looks?

It was just this episode, everything else looked okay, but it's probably because there were no fight scenes in those episodes. The 4th episode had some crazy black outlines.

I loved those black outlines.

It was nice of them to add my character from your old comic to Dragon Ball.

They do look eerily similar.

Instead of being beaten by first-form Freeza, he gets beaten by a mook. And next episode him, Piccolo, Ten and Krillin get solo'd by Tagoma who is "even stronger than the Ginyu Force."

And they're clearly doing it on purpose too. Just like when he was one-shotted by having Beerus throw Buu at him, they gave him this moment of build-up to suggest that he was going to get a good moment, but then he gets made a mockery of again.

Though I guess the mook did surprise attack him and this story established that even SSGSSJ Goku can fall victim to that.

Also, while Krillin having PTSD over Freeza is an interesting concept to explore, the execution was so terrible (Krillin is so terrified that he forgets that he is steonger than cannon fodder soldiers and needs enccouragement from Roshi that he's made progress over the years) that it just felt like Toei turning Krillin into a moron and a coward again to show how much cooler Ten is.

Good for Tagoma. He's been screwed over by the writers for TOO LONG.

This sounds awful.

I hate how Gohan always get shafted it was bad enough with the ending of the Buu saga.

Blame Toei's hateboner for Gohan. Either that, or the Japanese fans that don't give a flying fuck about Gohan.

Just remember the good to come out of this, boys. More Dragon Ball means maintaining popularity. Maintaining popularity means more higher budget video games that Bandai Namco finds safe to go ahead with. More higher budget video games means more fun. More fun means maintaining my erection.

I want Budokai 4 or budokai Tenkaichi 4 all other dbz games can just piss off.

I'm a bit tired of developers re-establishing engines and redoing characters, stages, and so forth from the ground up over and over, only for it all to head absolutely nowhere. They already attempted reboots of both of those series and they pretty much crashed and burned.

Burst Limit could have been a worthy series to succeed Budokai had it gotten additional installments, but Dimps moved on to Street Fighter IV and we were left with a game light on content, some failed implemented ideas and lame changes to the gameplay style. It was just there to lay the groundwork for something better that we never got. Then there's Raging Blast, its sequel, and Ultimate Tenkaichi, all of which are proof that Spike can't make polished, functional games for shit anymore.

Xenoverse was a refreshing new start for the franchise. It had a fair bit of flaws, but most of them were dumb design decisions (like the RNG and MMO-esque grinding bullshit) that are easily rectifiable. It laid a ridiculously solid and content-heavy foundation, leaving room for what could be an insanely awesome sequel with more depth, content, and another original story mode.

smdh Gohan is so weak that he can't sustain SSJ anymore for a prolonged period of time.

He might get angry again next episode though because Piccolo "died" again.

And I thought they shamed Gohan in the movie. Holy fuck they hate Gohan more than Toriyama hates Vegeta.
