| Omnigul's strike has a ridiculous amount of enemies -everyone at the end had over 150 kills- and almost every enemy does arc damage or will go for the melee. This Nightfall is going to be a nightmare with arc burn and lightswitch modifiers. And it doesn't look like this boss can be cheesed. | |

| It's not that bad, a friend and I beat it on our first try and I was a level 29 (new raid gloves and vanguard boots) for good measure. You just have to take it slowly and only pop out to shoot the boss in between waves of knights and wizards. I'm glad that it can't be cheesed. | |

Edit: awesome, I got another crappy pulse rifle from nightfall

| I honestly don't remember, sorry. I think nightfall rewards need to be improved, I got 7 energies which is kind of ridiculous for the difficulty level. | |

| Hmm. Just checked my players stats, and I've somehow clocked up 104 hours and that's without ever touching Vault of Glass. One chap in my clan has allegedly clocked up 580 odd hours, which is an insane amount of time. | |

| Its not grindy at all unless you want all guns and gear etc, its just really addictive so you end up spending all your spare time on it.

| It's very grindy, but the core gameplay is excellent so it often doesn't feel like a chore. | |

| I've found four legendary engrams since Tuesday. Did they increase the drop rate? Of course the Cryptarch decided to troll me as usual and I got the same machine gun twice with the same elemental damage too. At least one of them had great perks (it's basically a corrective measure with arc damage) and I also got a shotgun with field choke, hammer forged, the perk that increases reload time after a melee kill and crowd control. | |

Well, I paid for it when I got the game, so I am going to play the extra story missions and maybe the new raid if I have some better gear. But i'll probably be done with it again pretty soon.

| The new raid is actually really good, it's a shame there's so little content otherwise and the whole DLC ultimately amounts to damage inflation (that makes you restart progression from scratch) and a new reputation to grind up. Destiny really does have some of the best modern shooting mechanics wrapped up in one of the worst MMOs in history. | |

| I think it's stupid that the vendors' new armor is better than the one you can get from the first raid.

So does the rest of the world. Everyone except Bungie, of course.

| What do you think of the new Crucible maps? Pantheon and Cauldron seemed pretty good to me, but I hated Skyshock. I hope it is removed from clash and control playlists like Bastion and First Light. | |

| Skyshock is the worst map in the game. | |

| Skyshock is pretty awful. It feels like it's trying to be more open than most of the maps but the design it'sjust horrible. I ended upgetting most kills by patrolling the two central buildings with my trusty Invective. The other two are very good though so it's not all bad. | |

| Since we need to pay 7,000 glimmer AND an exotic shard to upgrade our old exotics, I decided to buy the new Voidfang vestments for Iron Banner and dismantled my old ones for a shard. I also bought two exotic helmets engrams and I got the helmet that increases Arc Blade time for Bladedancers and the new Voidwalker helmet. This one grants extra super energy for killing enemies in PvE and reduces Nova Bomb's cooldown; in other words, infinite nova bombs. I hoped I'd get Sunsinger's helmet, the one that blinds enemies when you activate Radiance, to counter the lightswitch modifier, but I like the one I got too.
As for the weapons, Xur can upgrade some of the most popular PvP weapons like Suros, Thorn, The Last Word, Truth and Thunderlord. Iron Banner will be fun. I upgraded my Last Word and Ice Breaker.
The second of Eris' mission was totally not worth the trouble. I had to buy the Urn of sacrifice for one coin, kill 25 thralls, melee 5 explosive ones, kill with void damage numerous Acolytes and Wizards, wait for Urzek, a pretty strong Knight that appears during the Skywatch public event, to show up and kill him, complete another story mission and bring the urn back to Xur. Eris gave me some gloves that aren't better than the ones the vendors sell. The most interesting thing about this mission was that I had to sabotage a ritual for Crota's dad, Oryx. I guess he'll be one of Destiny 2's main bosses.

| has it got that bad? I haven't played it since the dlc as i've still not got it but a lot of people have told me not to waste my money so i'm in 2 minds about just selling my copy & buying it after the second dlc drops when it will no doubt be £10 on the store just to milk the last bit of money off it that they can | |
