The key notes for the PS4 UI were lifted straight out of flOw by the sound of it.

Price drop on vita memory cards will most likely improve sales drastically, I might buy a 2nd 32GB card.

it's a bit of a shame they didn't show any new from a major studio.. plenty of new games though, but you know, not one that I would say: yeah that's gonna be awesome, cause I love that studio and the games they make..
but at least they confirmed Naughty Dog, Media Molecule and Santa Monica are working on something PS4.

it did make me think about Ico or The Last Guardian.
but yeah, I saw interesting games, of which I'll probably get some, but you know, would've just been great if we got one major reveal.
anyways, i saw neat stuff today, Battlefield 4 earlier at EA looked pretty fucking cool, and I'm not really a fan of the series, but it looked epic. and well, I do love Killzone so it was nice to see some multiplayer of that too.

Aside from the link above which i just fixed, I'd say infamous second son is looking nice, nothing else really caught my eye.

Infamous is really the only ps4 game that we've seen that I'm keen for. Battlefront 3 not counting because we haven't seen anything from it yet.

if you're a Battlefield fan you might wanna check that out.. cause 4 looked pretty cool to me and as I already mentioned, I'm not really a fan of the series so far. (or the multiplayer at least)
but yeah, it's still on current gen consoles too, so I guess that doesn't really count.

I haven't seen anything that distinguishes Battlefield 4 from 3, what appeals to you about it?
Best news is more on Drakengard 3, which wasn't actually at Gamescom at all.

well, at the EA conference they showed off some levels, and the amount of interactivity in them is what i really thought was awesome.
I know environment destruction is also in BF3, but this one had like a city that gets flooded as you're playing, and you can then drive through it in boats and all that, then there's a big battleship, that was just laying around half sunken, and it washes ashore and you can actually climb on it and still use it's turrets and cannons to attack other people. it's just very dynamic maps and environments, and it looked incredibly fun to play.
but I have to say, I haven't played enough of BF3 to really have a good opinion on that, it just never really gave me that vibe of: yeah, this looks fun, this is cool. and I'm definitely getting that vibe from what I've seen from BF4. But I am giving it another shot now in multiplayer and we'll see if I'll learn to like it, I think the thing that bugged me most was I couldn't figure out a lot of things or the gameplay just didn't feel good to me. But yeah, we'll see, I don't think it's as dynamic as BF4 promises to be though, but it might still be fun.
4 has got me really interested, maybe with stuff that's already in 3, if so, all the better, but yeah, I do need to find a way to get to grips with the gameplay and the classes still before I even think of buying BF4. that's really the main issue I had, most of the times, i didn't know what I needed to do.
But if anything, my interest in 4 has got me to give 3 a try again, and well, maybe 4 doesn't really improve much over 3, but if I can enjoy 3, I'm sure i can enjoy 4 too.

Battlefield is the sort of game which would be a supplementary for me. I might grab it and have some fun with it, but it's not something I'm anticipating, and it won't be factored in when I'm deciding whether or not the console has enough games out for me to warrant getting it.
