Translation our the Wii U sold poorly, if we release figures compared to our projected sales, people will point and laugh.

| To be honest I'm not really surprised, they announced all their games in the "Nintendo Direct" streams every month or two so there's probably not a whole lot to publicly talk about. They will miss out on the advertising opportunity of course but considering how the big 3 have all made themselves look pretty bad for the past few years it might be better off that way. | |

I didn't even know these existed. The people they've informed are people who already own there product that in no way helps in getting more console sales and reaching a wider audience. Aside from what you've mentioned to me i'm not even aware of any releases on the Wii U.

Everyone already knows it didn't sell well, the people who care enough to involve themselves in corporate fanboy wars already are. - Quote :

That's because the Wii U doesn't really have any massive releases yet. The biggest non-launch title was Monster Hunter but that was just the same game Capcom has been porting to everything ever with a bit of extra content. Everything that would sell systems is supposed to be coming out later in the year.

| so apart from neo, does anyone else actually care about nintendo? As far as im aware even the new cross platform games aint filtering through to the wiiu (correct me if im wrong) & there was a zelda game that was ready for release with the system but they have never released it... Surely with piss poor sales figures they could have dropped it in to try and boost themselves? Dont get me wrong, i dont want them to stop making stuff but maybe just stick to handhelds, it seems sony & microsoft have got the console market | |

| Is that really such a smart move? Like Neo said, they miss out on advertising this way. It's mainly going to be the larger Nintendo fans that saw Nintendo Direct. They said something about announcing more WiiU games, E3 would have been a better time to do it.
I kinda care about Nintendo, but it would be better if they stuck to handhelds as you say. I have a hard time motivating myself to switch the Wii on, and the WiiU is stupidly expensive for what it is(imo) + no games hardly so far. Haven't caught up with what Microsoft have been up to yet, but M & S (not marks and spencers) are both probably going to destroy the WiiU.

| They're still going to be at E3 with new games and stuff, they're just not doing the usual opening conference. | |

| You're the first person i've heard refer to Microsoft as Micro and Soft.
If Nintendo does have a slew of games to be announced they should do it at E3. I'll care a lot less if i only see these games in short bursts. If you want your console to sell you need to say this is our console, we've got all these games coming out. You know you want them.
Nintendo do strange things I don't understand this HD remake of windwaker at all. Surely they could've chosen a better game than windwaker.

I remember the mixed views when it came out. Also One of the best is not the same as the best. The main point is you can shove your gamecube disc into your Wii U and play it. It makes a lot less sense then going to the older games which look a lot worse. It got praised more by fans after TP came out.

You still think this is a joke but it really is fun, the same way Wii Sports is.

| well yeah, but that's only the Sony conference.
I'd rather post a link to a place where all conferences are shown, like Gametrailers or Gamespot or something.
But yeah, if you only wanna see Sony, that's a good link to go to.
