I have no problem with people being excited about the PS4 either, they should just be excited about video games instead of social features and hardware that they are being told is good. You can't argue that my position isn't consistent as that's what I bought my Wii U for - the games.

it's not that much of a leap yet in graphics.. everything I saw looked pretty darn great..but not to say that it's photorealistic or it's too good


also, it's gonna be PS4 for Watch Dogs i think.. he did say "next gen title"

also, I'm not exited about the social features, as I said, I'm just mentioning it to you as you wanted all the info..

I couldn't care less for social features and being able toplay my games on all sorts of different devices.

As we will buy a PS3 for the games, I'm not going to get a chance to play infamous elsewhere. Sure the social features are stupid, but its not like we're excited over them. However I do think being able to help your mate who's stuck in a game is an amazing feature and could save a lot of frustration. As well as the video upload faetures. I don't need to connect my ps4 to my facebook account, so that isn't a big deal a feature i'm not going to use hardly makes a product any worse.

The quantic dream stuff that face looked creepy as fuck. Doing a close up melee kill on a man and then seeing his face twist in anguish is something i would hate to show up in games, even if it still isn't that real looking.

missed all of it!!! having said that when the 360/ps3 came out the games didnt look half as good as they do now (yakuza 3/ sleeping dogs) as my example, this can only get better with age

yeah, that looked realistic, but it's not gonna be in every run of the mill game whith lots of characters on screen etc.. that's only gonna be reserved for the type of games Quantic Dream makes.. which are heavy on the story and cinematics and "emotion"

My comments on the social things weren't directed at either of you, I just don't like that time and money is being spent on them when everyone who would actually be interested has already moved on to Apple tablets and phones.

these games are a bit 50/50. Games won't necessarily look this good. Also i think the stream is kinda limiting in terms of us being able to tell how good the graphics are.

don't know which stream you're watching, but the GT one is in brilliant HD for me..

was an entertaining show. no real heavy hitters other than maybe the new Infamous, Killzone, Destiny and Watch Dogs maybe.. but everything I saw looked pretty good. it's up to my expectations.

Bungie just stole some Journey music.

too bad we didn't get to see the console, but I'm assuming they have to keep something for E3

Anyway, as long as I can turn all that automatic download crap and social fluff off then I'll be happy. I don't want my console picking my content for me. I have a brain you know Sony.

Can someone list in full what games were mentioned?

also games have been slated for not looking real eough... im hoping these look more like humans than graphics, especially with RPG's like final fantasy, we are supposed to get into the game & feel what the characters feel so looking like real people can only be good for the system

The games looked dull. Graphics assuming that is what we see on the final console were fine. I care more about stable frame rates. I don't ever want to experience slowdown next gen.

I want some more stylised games, I was really hoping to see something that made me think wow this looks like the next gen. I remember seeing stuff like prototype and literally thinking yeah this is way beyond anything i could have had on PS2.

I honestly am doubting that we will see anything that can do that this next gen. Even if gran turismo 6 is photorealistic i doubt i'd even care. We need something more and new.

I really wish we saw one of the sony mascots up there, its a real shame we didn't get a chance to. Or something cool like the Last Guardian which seems dead.

I think that game was called Knack it looked to have some pretty shit graphics outside of the MC.

Driveclub looked great but I hope the gameplay has the amount of effort that dressing up had.

gt 5 was photo realistic, nothing they can do will look more next gen than the last game.. well aside from actually getting in a car and driving it

The real world is boring, realism essentially means every game will be grey scaled. Also Final Fantasy looks amazing but it doesn't look like real people they look like china dolls and thats the way i prefer my characters. If i wanted to see ugly people I'd look out the window.

that wasn't Final Fantasy, that was just a real time demo of something..

then he came out and announced they were working on a new final fantasy
