EDIT: at 11pm GMT by the way, but the GT show starts a bit earlier I assume.

I can't wait for next gen, I love the PS3 but this has been a very long console run. I probably only have 4 or 5 games I'm still anticipating.

It's time for some new hardware, 4K capable visuals, more functional 3d and or oculus support (How great would a Driving game be if you could turn your head to look around, I love how the older guys in the industry are making neat little gadgets to level the playing field, until my neck snaps that is LOL getting old blows).

Not sure the touch pad will cause many issues, the six axis didn't really get in the way, and it's really up to the game devs to use it or not. It is nice to have the tool available and someone is bound to use it right. The two prototype controllers look good and not far off from the current Dual Shocks. It looks like (So Far) that I guessed right and they lengthened the cross bar, removed the start and select buttons and are putting the touch pad in there instead.

I just really hope they don’t create a new network; I have way too much money invested in the current PSN.

And I’m a little jacked my Fatboys Blu ray lens died, so I did just have to buy a new PS3. Oh well
I can always use it for Blue ray and DVD to limit the motor use of the PS4.

It's not going to have any graphical power, the specs they mentioned are worse than computers from 3 years ago.

chatbox would be nice... but i guess no one can set it up except for Buu ?

games are playable while still downloading... neat

you can watch friends play games, you can tap into sort of a live-feed of their game or something

completely revamped dashboard too, looked neat

This means that system resources will be taken up by background processes such as downloading and streaming/remote play instead of being used for the actual games.

Being able to "update while switched off" means that Sony can send and receive data to and from your system without your permission.

i'm not here to argue about it now, just informing you of the things that are being said for now.

There's nothing to argue about because nothing I have said is wrong.

Streaming game services like Gaikai and Onlive are awful - they introduce input lag and make the visual quality worse - like playing a game over youtube.

no, I meant about the whole conference, i'm not gonna talk about anything until after it's over, and am just gonna stick to giving you the information for now.

they're really putting in an effort to the social side of things and playing games across many platforms as phones and tablets as well..
