I kinda hope Epic shows off Unreal Engine 4... they showed it behind closed doors at GDC, and they are gonna show it publicly this year, E3 would be perfect.

Not really hopeful for this. Unless Epic decide to be a PC developer again there's not a whole lot that can be improved over UE3 given the hardware that "next gen" consoles are supposedly using.

Why wouldn't they be telling them to make them as powerful as possible? It's not as if they're going to say "you know what guys, that's a bit overkill. Maybe tone it down a bit, yeah?"

well true, but they could just remain silent about it too, let these console developers do their thing and then work with what they get.

not that Sony or MS or Nintendo would listen to them, but them actively carrying out the message of making sure the systems are as powerful as they could be, kinda seems to me like they got something good up their sleeves that they wanna be able to use to it's full potential.

All we need is a bluray drive in everything, around 100 gig harddrive that is easily upgradable, couple of USB slots, then the best prcessors and technical stuff they can fit in. No pointless extras please.

Hoping for a good quality live stream

They have a stream thing for G4, but everytime I click "view" a blank page comes up and it takes me to G4's homepage. Weird.

gametrailers always has a great quality stream, it's been my nr. 1 stream to follow for years now. besides, they have an entire day of coverage with reveals, game demos, interviews in between all the conferences.

so I take it the chatbox will be up tomorrow?
