if you are pre ordering, where are you guys pre ordering from? i'm getting catacombs map for sure and possibly rail yard. but, i'm guessing most of you will end up with high seas fortress from amazon
i thought jake's was the best, it demonstrated what the new enemies are capable of fairly well. what would have made it better is if we got a taste of ustanak like DD players got.
the only reason i like leon's is due to it's atmosphere. the zombies were extremely boring unless a horde appeared, but even then it was easy to manage due to melee .
chris' was easily the worst, if not for that boss battle i would have most likely argued they were trying to imitate some crap ass generic war themed shooter.

yeah, I'm not really impressed either... maybe it's due to the new controls and all and me not being used to it, but some actions are weird to do, or feel weird.
melee combat feels awkward as hell, and doesn't register well a lot of times too.
Leon's part was the best so far, Chris was rather boring but the boss fight was cool, and Jake I haven't finished yet, as I died and didn't feel like continuing for now.
Moving while aiming is WAY too slow. Cover feels very awkward too; Uncharted and Mass Effect, and probably many more games, did it a lot better. I don't understand why I need to aim first in order to roll or why I need to change my herbs to pills and then store those pills before I can use them, but whatever. Everything else is fine.

I'm hoping the final game has some tutorials on everything.. sure, there's a control scheme, but I really like tutorials over just watching the control schemes, as it teaches you hands on how everything works.. that's really the biggest gripe I have with it now.. can't get the controls down..
ugh, the part as Jake I really hated, these enemies are just annoying as hell, especially those creature ones that run around and spit acid.
they really take the cake for most annoying RE enemy ever.
really, the only part that made me think of Resident Evil was as Leon, Chris felt like a bad Gears Of War clone and Jake's part was just annoying and dull.
Jake's part was great, having to run around having to run from the monster was a nice new thing and then taking it out with explosive canisters was actually pretty fun and the enemies not being completely stupid is good too. Plus, having melee as an actual weapon was pretty cool, because he rocks everything's balls with it. Also, why did it anyone like Leon's? Seriously nothing happened until the elevator sequence and by then the demo was over, it didn't feel tense it seriously was just boring as hell.
Also, for anyone having problems with controls or camera and what not you can adjust those pretty easily in the options.

I played the demo again and I agree with BD that Chris' part was the most boring. Especially when you had to protect that guy. Jake's generally alright, but it's too dark at some points, like when they get separated. I couldn't see anything playing as the character who falls down.
