Playing the demo now and it's great. The only thing dragging it down is that it's a full price retail game. Not that platformers can't do that these days, but there are other great 2D platformers on the store for around £8. So releasing one for £40 is asking a bit much I think. I dunno though, maybe there's tons of content or something.
Still, it's really fun.

has the demo got it?
Does it seem like a geame with coop mechanics or is it you all do your own thing?

I think the demo just has local multiplayer. Don't know if actually a co-op game or just a single player game that allows 4 players. Probably the latter.

Oh, apparently there is no online multiplayer at all. Just local.

I've decided to ask for this for Christmas instead of Assassin's Creed, bucking a 2 year trend (woul be 4 years but there was a 2 year gap between AC1 and 2. I've yet to buy an AC game myself).

It does look pretty awesome but only local multiplayer is stupid as fuck.

We play a different type of game, like "run train on that chick passin' out at the bar"

It sounds lovely through headphones. It's like an old crooner song but sung entirely in bubbly nonsense. it's almost as good as Locoroco's music.

Rayman has always been known for that type of quirky music.

The game is exactly like the demo, except better because it has 60 levels and a few new abilities and busty fairies.

The demo is ok. Same enemies over n over but it is a demo. I enjoyed flying on that mosquito though.

Completed the game and got all the treasure chests to unlock the secret level, but haven't played that yet. The last treasure chest chase was quite hard, and one of the levels in the last world was a pain, but other than that it's not too bad. A lot of people seem to think this game is super hard for some reason.
Still got some electoons to get through time trials and stuff too.
