Started Watching This

First four episodes were decent. I read the pilot chapter as well just to get a feel for the initial differences. I found it extremely odd that the anime switched up the sisters and had Karin be the one that was caught by the Hollow. In other news, Johnny Yong Bosh is awesome. Even if he never changes his voice up for any role . Really, though. He always has the exact same voice for Ichigo, Genma, Sasori, Zero, Adam Park, all the other filler Naruto characters he did and the others.

Isn't this that show where the dub may as well not even exist?

The dub is decent, I don't even get why people complain about it.

People complain about it because it leaves so many things untranslated for no apparent reason. I was watching an episode recap the other day on Adult Swim and the narrator was rattling off so many compounded Japanese words that I wondered if Viz had even hired a translator for the show at all. Actually, I don't know if that's why "people" complain about it, but that's the problem I have. I don't disagree that it's decent if you just have to hear American actors.

Are you serious? Fans have issues with untranslated words and then start referring to spirit bombs as Genkai damas.

I'm referring to the 'fans' who normally don't watch the shows but hate on dubs existing because they're just obsessed with japan.

Going by the way people acted about previous dubs I see no reason why they can't use whatever japanese words they want especially as its generally weapon and move names, which i couldn't care less about. I don't care for legitimate reasons for hating dubs i.e. Naruto having a really annoying voice and screaming believe it every 5 seconds, which is good enough reason alone to not watch it at all.

I watched the first 3 episodes, and that's all.

Naruto's voice actress is better than 90% of Bleach's boring, lifeless cast. Not to mention that they stopped using Believe It after the first 20 episodes or so. Or that he says the exact same thing in the Japanese version all the damn time and nobody cares about that.

And if a fansub is using less Japanese words than the actual official English dub, then yeah, you're doing it wrong.

You're right fansubs are the way to go. I'm glad we can be nakamas and agree on that.

I stand by my comments of attack names and stuff though. Fans complain regardless of if they are translated or not.

Yea you should probably skip everything with the bounts. The thing is, it wouldn't have been terrible filler if they had only made it maybe 20 episodes long max, but almost 50 episodes of straight filler is just retarded. Ichigo's final fight with Kariya in the Soul Society is pretty good though if you ask me.

I'm gonna end up watching it all anyway. I went through over 100 episodes of Naruto filler. This is nothing compared to that.

No, the reason I think there's inchigo hate is because he really doesn't change a whole lot. Not that much development in his character but I never minded it cuz I always liked his character to begin with.
