Started watching hellboy 2

seems pretty good
luke goss is just plain awesome

I thought the movie looked amazing. Just the whole feel of the antagonist alone was worthy of one Internets.

yeah he's awesome
i kinda was rooting for him through the movie though obviously the good guys will win in a movie like this
he managed to pull off the same in blade 2

realistically though in a one on one fight his charaacter didn't have a chance in hell of losing

The ending was obvious as hell from the beginning, though. Once you found out that the siblings shared each other's wounds, it was a given that the sister was going to end up taking herself down to stop him.

the whole was pretty much predictable from the outset
still a great movie though

it weren't like the film was trying to be clever when its plot was simple
which is a good thing

can't stand it when films try to be clever when there not

the only real falw with the hellboy films
is hellboy does jack in terms of fighting and pretty much relies on the fact he is effectively invincible
prince nuar in this one and the colonel in the first film both completely outclassed him

I thought the movie was pretty dull. Costumes were great, but that was it. Story didn't feel that coherent, and Luke just phoned is his performance from Blade 2.

really?
i thought the plot was about as standard and copy pasta as you can get
there wasn't anything to it and probably by the end of the opening credits you predicted the whole film

but this film was never meant to be complicated so i was like fair enough

It's not that it was simple or predictable, it just didn't make much sense. Only saw it once when it was in theaters, so I can't remember much about it, but I remember having that impression when I came out of the cinema.

I was a bit excited to see Luke Goss again, since Nomak from Blade 2 is one of my favourite movie villains, but he was nothing special in this.

honestly for me if he wasn't in this i wouldn't have found the film as entertaining
the guys got charisma ro something that just makes whatever character he plays epic

no idea what plotwise didn't make sense to you
cause literally there just wasn't that much to it

It just felt like a bunch of unconnected scenes from what I remember. And Luke Goss lacked the charisma and presence he had in Blade 2. Probably because the character in this was all noble and reserved.

oh i kinda get what you mean
i think that was the films attempt at character development
there were some scenes that felt a bit tacked on
just for the hell of it namely the love story in the film
particularly anything that was to do with selma blairs character who's character name i can't even remember

i also found the whole your going to destroy the whole world as its your destiny theme throughout the series a bit odd

so its true Hellboy bones the chick? like how?

Yeah, I was disappointed. In isolation, you'd have said that Luke Goss' performance was good, but he's simply repeating his Blade 2 character, and the story and pacing where no where near as strong as the first.

yeah he even looked the same

He was nowhere near as awesome as Nomak though.
