Oh, and Baal; you were right about Sentinel's chip damage. His heavy attacks (the ones that shoot lasers) also count as specials apparently, because they do chip damage as well. A lot of it in fact. Oddly, in Marvel Super Heroes, Hulk used to do chip damage with his regular attacks to, but I've tested it in MvC3 and that's no longer the case. I can't remember trying it in MvC or MvC2 though so I'm not sure when that was removed.
How does the reserve team thing work? It was removed in MvC.

| Man, I love Wesker.
j. S or j. H < cr. LM, st. H < qcfL < (dash) d/f H < cr. M st. H < qcfM ~ L teleport < S < j. MMH < Phantom Dance
About 650,000 damage with just one hyper meter. I must get consistent with this combo and stop mashing buttons. In theory, finishing it with j. MMHS < d/f H < assist or XFC < Lost In Nightmares should work too and kill most characters.
Sentinel's drone assist also greatly improves his rushdown game with all the teleportation shenanigans and his cross-ups. He even has command grab that starts a combo.
Now I need to find a third member and I'm ready to start learning how to properly play this game. I'm between Chris, Doom and Magneto.

| God Spencer's Japanese voice is awful, who in their right minds would use it? | |

| I've got all the voices except Akuma's and Ryu's set to English. On the subject of assists, one of Morrigan's assists grants you a Hyper Combo level. Very useful, even if Morrigan herself is one of the more technical characters. | |

| Yes, it's good to have Morrigan in a Phoenix team. | |

| How do you do the Hypercombos that require 3 slots? I've done them a few times without notice, but I usually just do the normal ones when I try these. | |

| Not all characters have them; check the command list. A few of those that do are Wesker, Akuma, Ammy, Morrigan and Magneto. | |

| The only voice I have in Japanese is Akuma. His English voice is rather odd. | |

| After clearing a few more missions, understanding the game a bit better and putting some thought I've decided that my team will be Wesker/Magneto/Doom. Wesker for his mix-ups, mindgames, rushdown and great meter-less damage. And because he is from Resident Evil. Magneto because he's cool, Gravity Squeeze is my favourite hyper and he is very strong offensively with the fast low air dash. With Albert's low Samurai Edge and Magneto's Gravitation as assists I can extend their combos for extra damage and setups. Doom because he's my favourite Marvel character, he's a balanced playstyle and his loops do excellent damage without depending on meter. His hypers are kinda meh, but his Hidden Missile assist is ridiculously good at interrupting the opponents from attacking you and also forces them to stand still block the homing missiles, allowing Wesker and Magnus to dominate easily. ... However, I seriously doubt I'll be able to perform Doom and Magneto's juggles, so I may pick Iron Man who is not so different from Magneto and the ugly robot whose assist works more or less like Doom's missiles. - SOK wrote:

Have you tried Sentinel yet?

| Yes and I'm not going to resort to using him in any of my teams online. I only used him to hax through arcade in very hard mode once. Other than that, screw 'im. | |

| So I've gone through Arcade with every character at least once and I think my top four are Zero, Akuma, Dante and Cap. | |

| Speaking of Akuma, what's with the children laughing in the background whenever he does some hyper or wins? | |

It was in SFIV/SSFIV. Other than that, I haven't the slightest clue.

I don't recall that being in SFIV/SSFIV. But then again, I haven't played either in a long time and I probably didn't pay attention much. Was it during his ultra?

Ammy is cute. That's all I can say. Oh, Akuma has very high-damaging combos and an amazing assist (the spinning kick). He also works well together with Wolverine apparently.
