Edit: And fuck Akuma. Seniority doesn't count for shit, they were dropping older characters like flies because no one cared about them or some shit excuse Capcom made up. Then out of nowhere they add Akuma because of his "history" more like because of his model and Ryu's easily copied fighting style.

Actually no, it's due to his Dead Rising super where he goes through a horde of zombies. They can get away with randomly calling one zombie to the screen but that super causes too much slowdown and really, the slowdown only occurred during online play. It doesn't make any fucking sense why slowdown at that point matters because it is a fucking cutscene attack, but whatever.

EDIT: Maybe if Capcom's netcode wasn't so shitty then this wouldn't be a problem.

There are some complete BS characters on the roster i'm kinda annoyed.

Akuma being the worst one out of the lot and frank west will definitely be DLC they'll suddenly say they found a way to work around it.

It's especially ridiculous because apparently we can have particle maelstrom effects work just fine but "ZOMBIES IN CUTSCENES SLOWING DOWN THE ONLINE PLAY? WELP, HE'S GONE!".

No seriously, this is like bullshit beyond bullshit. I could understand if it were for a regular move but the fact is even then they were still thinking of incorporating Strider, whose moves include making multiple versions of himself, having little robot minions and then using a fucking storm of eagles and tigers.

They should of released Akuma as DLC then i could of ignored the twat.

It'll depend on my mood and my mode of play. I'll definitely try to learn a character or two for online fights though.

The Capcom roster probably wouldn't have suffered as much if Capcom had actually used crazy characters and not just opted to post some characters from MvC2 solely because they were from MvC2. Seriously, Felicia did not need to be in this game, you could've replaced her with a character from another series more worthwhile. Nor did Ryu as he's one of the worst characters in the MvC3 series, they could've replaced him with Dan, Cammy and Sakura, character whose styles drastically changed when they got in these games and then you could've also had justification for Akuma being in. Mega Man doesn't add anything to gameplay is what they stated, then why in the hell is Ryu in this fucking game? Had Capcom bothered to get a better netcode then the online play wouldn't HAVE to suffer from slowdown from Frank's cutscene attacks (As they claim) or Human Torch.

There's just problems that could've easily been resolved if Capcom just fucking sat down and thought for a minute.

I'm happy now I know from your guys posts earlier you're dissapointed. But really looking at the final slots I'm more than satisfied.

I think the exact opposite. The marvel Roster is half crap. Capcom roster is decent. With the inclusion of two- three broken characters in thier respective games, Zero, Wesker and Akuma.

Thats megaman, RE and street fighter represented right there.

I can't agree with that because Ryu's the posterboy of SF. Even though I don't like him personally, it wouldn't feel right without him. I need at least one guy shouting Hadouken in a gi, any more than that though is too much.
