| Honestly, I haven't been interested in an FPS since Killzone 1. And the only reason KZ1 was awesome was because of the awesome local multiplayer. (I could actually have a 1 life/spawn only 8 or 12 person free for all. I couldn't even do that in Perfect Dark, and that's like the best FPS ever for me.) | |

The game itself doesn't bother me its the fact that people are paying for this game and activision doesn't put that money back into the game. Its plain ridiculous.

| I think the call of duty franchise has finally taken a hit, all the games seem to have had huge price reductions since MW3 came out and thats including MW3. Well thats only this country would be interesting if this is happening elsewhere. I'm wandering if people are genuinely getting annoyed with the franchise or if this is to do with battlefield 3. | |

Going up to MW3's release, Black Ops was still full price.

| Because people are finally getting annoyed that a bad game with a universally awful fanbase and gameplay that amounts to whoever lags less wins sells well. | |

| Well if you can sell every single game in the series for 40 pounds and suddenly they are all starting to drop sub 20 and even MW3 sub 30, the bubble has clearly burst. | |

| Sales might still be big in the US, although you'll see if the price stays low post sale. Even then though when sales were on here CoD never went on sale.
Either way though its a good thing means they will have to improve more on the next CoD game or the series will be in trouble.

Yeah but elite cost about the price of the game so ppl basically bought it twice. Its not comparable directly to sales of MW2. Which i think pulled in something like 3/4 billion on release and i don't think it had a map pack avaliable at release.
