Hipsters don't read comics(except maybe when their respective live-action movies come out and are totally hip n' cool, that's the only time they may find the comics worthy enough for them).

What are you talking about? Hipsters would read comics precisely because they're not popular and the second a movie came out and made it 'mainstream' they'd renounce it.

Yeah, he's not exactly one of the most well known heroes. I think kids would probably know him better since he was on the Avengers cartoon for an episode.

I have a feeling Phoenix Wright and Rocket Raccoon will be the last two to be revealed. Phoenix because he was by far one of the top requested with Strider (who was used to hype up fans from the initial character selection). And Rocket Raccoon because very few people seem to appreciate his add and putting him with Phoenix Wright will lessen the impact.

Well the thing is I think Wright is popular enough in Japan to warrant being revealed at TGS but I'm most likely overestimating his popularity, it also helps that Frank has his own game coming out in October that they can use his reveal trailer to advertise at NYCC but I know for sure that Vergil and Iron Fist are being revealed at TGS.

Really, here's how I see the reveals so far.

If we're going on the basis that Phoenix Wright isn't as popular in Japan as I think he is and they'd reveal him last on the factor of him being the most anticipated.

TGS
Frank West/Nova - Based on the fact that Frank is a normal human being and Nova is a pretty normal superhero in that he has nothing special in terms of superpowers.
Vergil/Iron Fist - Both martial artists that fight in a refined style with magic powers.

NYCC
Phoenix Wright/Rocket Raccoon - The two most highly anticipated characters based solely on the "What the hell" factor. That and only Comic book fans would generally know who Rocket Raccoon is.

I agree. That seems very likely. That probably would be the best way to introduce them as well.
