Konami had a pre-E3 event on thursday...


anyways, I'm excited for Insomniac's multiplatform game, should be announced at the EA conference going on now

I'm watching on Gametrailers, they have a show in between the conferences with more gameplay and more reveals

they've shown Skyrim, a new demo for MW3, more of Fable, ..


edit: been watching for almost 4 hours now and still a lot more hours to go

The commercial for Over Strike made me think of an over the top action movie.

It made me thing of a generic as fuck cover based shooter.

There wasn't even any gameplay Buu and sorry I meant to put this into the E3 thread.

so Overstrike looked pretty neat to me.


I hope it's a third person game though, think it would suit it good

It was generic in every conceivable way, though I'm sure it'll be fun if they have full, well made, co-op and the weapons and such are diverse enough.

I'm psychic. Although it looks generic i think insomniac can make good games so i'll chek it out for the same reasons as neo

how can you possibly know it's generic if you haven't seen any gameplay at all?

Because everything they showed in the trailer was generic.

But neo, how would you know he was evil without those features? Without that the gamers woould be so confused.

the terminator was the same guy though, I think

and I'm not denying the generic elements, I'm just saying that it doesn't mean the entire game will be generic, that's all..

whether it sucks cuz it's generic doesn't even matter. It WILL suck just because EA will make sure it does. Probably by making you pay extra to play the game or subscibtion fee or some other bullshit that they are just waiting to piss off iwth.

they could've gone with some other gameplay for Battlefield though, it looked great, but I found the tank ride to be somewhat boring

Yeah I wanted to see some proper multiplayer, that 10 second video doesn't really count. At least there's an open beta in September, I hope I can run the game.
