Most anticipated games for end of 2011?

Vote for your favourite, and just list the other ones your getting.

Most anticipated is Batman, I reckon it'll come down to that or Deus Ex for best game of the year though Uncharted and Saints Row should be decent and Battlefield should have great multiplayer unless EA decide they want to ruin it.
Resistance 3 is completely off my radar at this point and I'm not sure about Dead Rising yet.
Dark Souls will hopefully be just as good as Demon's Souls I just hope they don't get too hung up on trying to make it difficult and forget to make a game.

I'm interested in dark souls if the multiplayer is decent, and you guys convince me.

I really doubt there'll be anything better then Arkham city or Deus Ex this year.

Dead rising, MGS, Uncharted and Saints row 3 will be awesome multiplayer, I'm also intersted in there single player campaigns.

So those are the ones i'm most intersted in, although DW7 XL is pretty much a definite purchase for me.

It seems like U3 has GotY pretty much won already.

The Ico Collection and Uncharted 3 are the only ones I plan on buying this year. I usually get AC for Christmas. In fact I don't think I've ever bought an AC game myself, they've all been Christmas presents.

You put a game like DBUT(there's no 'Budokai' in the title, bro, better fix that) in the poll but no LOTR: War in the North, Buu? For shame.

Anyway, my most anticipated is definitely Batman AC. Then there's Uncharted 3, and I'm holding some interest in that Team ICO Collection. War in the North was originally pretty high but it got caught in the cluster of said other anticipated games. I'll probably just rent that one or get it much later.

anyways, I want the above 3 and Resistance 3, Uncharted 3, Modern Warfare 3 and Battlefield 3 (that's a lot of 3's)

but due to unforeseeable costs, I'll probably only get Resistance 3, Dead Island and Uncharted 3 on launch.

Uncharted 3 and the MGS collection, maybe SH: Downpour too.

Except for Dead Island. That game looks like Left 4 Dead only with the added feature of enjoyable gameplay.

This, i already put 3 FPS games up there at least, i really don't see it being on anyones list.

R and C looks, poor in comparison to the other games.

Dead island i actually forgot about, but unless i hear something amazing soon i can't imagine it being anything major.

I put a couple of odd ones near the end but they're the only ones of there genres.

War of the north only two of us are interested in and thats ridiculously low down on my to buy list.

Dead Island looks like a crappy Borderlands + low quality Dead Rising rip off.

I was saving crappy borderlands for rage.

I initially thought Rage looked like a better Borderlands but then all that stuff was released about it being more closed in and linear and it lost that appeal.
Honestly I'd expected more from id and considering Carmack worked on the engine I was hoping for some amazing large scale environments.

seriously, I don't see the need why you need to call it a mediocre this and rip-off that every time it is brought up, unless your just trying to troll.

they have had Rage commercials here in America for like 6 months already. The game is super hyped up and drivin by a huge ad compaign, I'll give them that. They will sell a shit ton of copies because of it too.

There the only games of there genres coming out.

I personally think dragonball is crap but its going to outsell dead island easily and most likely a few other games on that list, like assault horizon which is clealry a way better game.

People most normally buy the best game of the specific genre before moving on to second place. I might get dead island but i definitely will buy off the record.

Besides at least two ppl here will buy Dynasty warriors XL... plus whoever else i bully into it.

Both of my posts were responding to Buu's comments on it, you're entitled to your own opinion on things but you don't need to get upset when someone disagrees with you.

3 other more popular FPSs are coming out it really needed to invest in those adverts to get somewhere. Besides brink/bulletstorm/DNF had big advertising campaigns and flopped.

oh, as far as Rage and Dead Island go... I haven't played other games like them, cause I didn't care for those.

i normally don't even like the genre, but there's something about Rage and Dead Island that does grab my interest where Borderlands and Dead Rising failed...


you guys might think those are the better games, and I get that you wouldn't like Dead Island or Rage because of it then, but for people like me who haven't played any game like this before, this is new and refreshing..
