Getting back the memories of the PS1

Emulator, not back to the console itself, lost my only memory card a long time ago, and I can't get myself to release the device once more
Here starts my memoirs

Tenchu 2: Birth of the Stealth Assassin
I can't believe I used to love this game, it reeks of pooh gas, a lot
Camera always focusing low
Voice acting is crap (at least it's superior to that of the 90s X-Men, that one has the worst voice acting I ever heard)
Controls are stiffly shit
It's too easy to lose direction

Training grounds:
Basic skills, OK
Swimming, OK
Fighting, I followed all your instructions mofo, why can't I get past it?

After all these retries, it's time to head for cheats, all levels

After the training grounds, chose to play as Ayame
First thing, Bandits
Ayame whines to her master about how smelly bandits are before going

Level stinks
How can I find them? There's a barf white ground to cover, can't find my way with so little landmarks

Reached the head bandit, a large piece of green shit
Looks like a blend of Wolverine, Sabretooth & Shreck
That's one mofo I can't beat easy, so there is the luxury of health cheat, I use

Something this corny with that lame voice acting is so bad it loses every bit of laughter it should deliver

Next level is...Chapter 1. Prologues are nerve wreckers sometimes

A palace, at least now it's easy to find things
Found the boss, and he gets away
There's this fat guy trying to be funny, voice acting sucks ass so much it loses all means of fun
I kick the ass of that slowpoke, and I'm forced to see another corny comedy with lame voice performance

I still have my PS1 copy too, but dust covers it
Play it if your copy is still untouched by dust, if you still play it

i probably will. i've been looking over my ps1 games and have been meaning to play them again

Stealth killing is still fun, that's for sure
The scene where Ayame saves that little girl and the talk about the child's mother, it feels a little as if a boy is voicing the girl

ayame has dumb stealth kills in 2. but she has awesome ones in WoH and uhhh the one after it

Fuck that game, it's so depressing how combat is messed up along with most things I'm moving to something else, I believe MGS is a good start

I've downloaded it recently, haven't gotten around to playing it yet.

all tenchu's have dumb combat, but 3 had the best

Wrath of heaven is my favourite tenchu, co-op missions were great.

Not suprised it plays bad now any 3d game on ps1 generally plays like junk except RE series as they always controlled terribly, MGS which pisses excellence and Soul Reaver which pisses excellence from a grat height on most games ever.

I think I got really spoiled with the camera controls
RPG's still play nicely

Soul reaver uses the standard PS2 onward camera interface IIRC hence it pisses excellence

Yea soul reaver is top tier adventure/platforming on the PS. Honestly I'd probably say all things considered its the best game in the series still, even though Defiance wasn't that great there is just something about the whole game that makes me love it so hard.
