Controls were bad Dialog were super bad Combat was "myah"
And I didn't want it any other way.
Those are all pretty much as standard for anything on PS1. Especially the survival horror genre, but like i said RE1 makes this look amazing, the static backgrounds make everything seem really stupid looking to. Anything you can pick up is hilariously blatent to. But yeah age hasn't been very well to this game, that said i think its one of the better looking PS1 games.

| Ghosts and Goblins + Ghouls and Ghosts are good, hard, games but I don't think they'd lend themselves to a group playthrough the same way point+click adventure games do. | |

| Well might as well go for deja vu or shadowgate, i guess raz can decide. We'll just go by names because knowing anything more about the games is just a plain spoiler. | |

| Deja Vu is police/spy themed, Shadowgate is fantasy like Uninvited was, I really don't know anything else about them aside from the fact that the game mechanics revolve around trying random things and reloading until one of them doesn't kill you. | |

Deja vu in that case that sounds intersting just because the fantasy theme is done to death in general. Let me know when you wanna do this. Also speak to raz he's busy a lot, not sure if anyone else will be into this.

| I'm happy to do it pretty much whenever, I only really work afternoons and nights and you're hardly ever online during those times so whenever Raz is free should be okay. | |

| Yeah I'd be up for it. I have assignments to do again so I'll shout out when I finish one of them and get a sufficient amount done on one of the others. | |

| I don't see why not, as long as you have a microphone for your computer it's open to everyone. | |

| You can join xalas, but we're gonna go by when raz is free so if you're not around when we're doing it you might miss out, i'll post here though. - Bag of Oranges wrote:

This is extremely exclusive, it just happens that we're nice enough to allow people to join, one rule we do have in place is that no one who has completed the game can join in on the playthrough i guess they can listen in for shits and giggles though. There's also no reason why we couldn't use PS3 voice chat if people want.

| Well the reason it'd be inconvenient is because my shitty blutooth headset is far less comfortable than my desktop mic, not to mention it would run out of battery, I would be facing away from my tv speakers and I would need to have wireless internet running on my PS3 as well as my wired internet on my computer. So really it just seems logical, for me anyway, to have it all on the computer. | |

| Yeah I couldn't do that, my PS3 is in a different room than my computer and even if I moved it my monitor doesn't have HDMI input so I'd essentially be doing things by memory. | |

| Oh ok that makes sense lol, anything should be fine for me, although i need to work out where my mic is otherwise i'll have to use an actual microphone on my PC. | |

| I can think of atleast one hilariously infuriating old game. Castlevania 3 The US version, surprisingly, is the harder of the two versions. With the JPN version having superior music and progressively getting easier as you near the end. The hilarious part, Despite the game already being hard, It has an even harder mode. 2nd Quest, Which you can actually play from the get-go if you type the name "AKAMA". ...I think I'll go try my PSN connection now. See if it's gotten better after the visit from Windstream Repairs. Might bode well for any future involvement I might have with these shenanigans. | |

| How would that work for a group playthrough though? Adventure games work because whenever someone progresses they can upload a save file but unless we use save states I can't see that working for Castlevania. | |

| With Uninvited we made constant saved states and when someone progressed they uploaded their file and the other two downloaded it. | |

| Also, this weekend could be the go guys if you two are up for it. I finished the first of my assignments last night and I can probably make a good amount of progress on the next over the next few days. | |
