| I'm just gonna put this here so we can make one topic about stupid yet hilarious games we've managed to play.
Me, Skip, Neo decided to take on Uninvited a game that basically kills you for doing anything wrong. Suprisingly we actually managed to complete it.
UNINVITED
Highlights of the playthrough: -Neo dying when starting the game and then saying the game put him back at the last checkpoint -Neo basically dying everytime we were anywhere near a threat -Picking up a ruby = death, yeah it killed neo -The fact that a house with ghosts has a bottled labelled no ghost to get rid of one of them -The fact the interface was bad enough to mean using no ghost on a ghost means shaking a bottle at them instead of using the contents which means you die -The fact your character kills himself when using a sharp object -Skips bright idea to use a spider on a ghost, just after I'd been corroded away by acid by said ghost, and actually being right -Using a battle Axe on a cookie jar apparently breaks the axe -Neo working out how to save the world at the end of the game by throwing the villain down a bottomless pit and then jumping in after him -The fact the game ends with you rescuing your sister who promptly jumps out of the nearest window to leave you in the creepy house alone
I'm pretty sure there were other extremely stupid things maybe Skip can add to it.

| -The fact that Neo fell asleep and nobody noticed.
-The fact that out of all the objects in the game, only 10% or so were actually useful
-The fact that after spending ages cultivating a plant and picking a fruit from it,you die if you eat the fruit.
-That goddamn immortal spider

To be fair you did actually need that fruit later in the game, it would have been nullshit if they let you continue after destroying a required item. Actually that sounds like the exact sort of thing the game would do but hey, whatever.

That wouldn't be any fun now, would it? - Mr. Akiyama wrote:

| I don't think anyone is inherently good at those games. You just pick up everything you can, and when it doubt try random shit. | |

Like throwing spiders at zombies or using battleaxes to open cookie jars.

| It's single player but we were talking over Skype while we all played it and generally doing the same stuff as each other. | |

| I'd be up for it. Of course we'd need a game none of us have played though, and I think neo has played all the Layton games. | |

| Shadowgate and Deja Vu are supposedly similar to Uninvited as far as gameplay goes so they're probably good choices. | |

| Well i can do this whenever, so up to you guys, shadowgate from what i've heard is meant to be a lot harder. I heard of the uninvited through TVtropes so i guess i could see what other random old stuff there is to entertain stuff.
I also don't mind us all trying to go through something thats meant to be stupidly hard like ghouls and ghosts either, anything works for me.

| That was the first thing that came to mind when I though of a 'stupid yet hilarious' game that I've recently played. | |

What was stupid about it? I mean compared to RE1 this game seems fairly normal, I dunno maybe i don't remember it so well. Wasn't cheap either IIRC. 8 bit era is normally where all the really stupid shit is.

| Since I've never played it before and decided to do so in this day and age, my experience could only be described as, "so terrible(by today's standards) it's hilarious."
Controls were bad Dialog were super bad Combat was "myah"
And I didn't want it any other way.
