What happened to PSN?

Where did it go?

It's been under maintenance for a while now(or so we think, anon claims that they had nothing to do with it going down). It'll probably be up in a few days.

Or it will never be up again.

According to rumour, a new CFW was released that allowed people to buy PSN with fake credit card numbers, and Sony have closed to network until they can deal with that somehow. It's been down for the best part of a week now.

that sounds like the most plausible thinig i've heard yet.

Apparently it's supposed to be back up today in the US and Europe so we'll have to see if they've resolved that later.

You should probably get a replacement credit/debit card number to prevent any future fraud on your accounts if anyone has there details on there.

I only ever use the voucher cards from Wal-Mart/K-Mart/etc.

dw 7 dlc was suppose to come out today.

XBL has been down for periods of up to 2 weeks on multiple occasions. They're both as bad as each other.
